  • Patent number: 12470575
Abstract: One or more features of a connected device are determined. A set of websites potentially accessed by the connected device are defined based on the one or more features. Reputation data for the set of websites is determined. The reputation data for the set of websites is stored into a cache. Network traffic between the connected device and an accessed website is intercepted. Reputation data for the accessed website is retrieved from the cache based on the network traffic. A cybersecurity operation related to the connected device is performed based on the reputation data for the accessed website.

  • Patent number: 12445462
Abstract: Data communication of a user apparatus via a customer-premises equipment (CPE) is intercepted. The CPE implements a local area network for the data communication of the user apparatus. First network traffic related to a remote access software in the user apparatus is detected in the data communication. Second network traffic related to an online banking software in the user apparatus is detected in the data communication. The first network traffic and the second network traffic are determined to coincide. In response to determining that the first network traffic and the second network traffic coincide, the first network traffic related to the remote access software in the user apparatus is blocked via the CPE.

  • Publication number: 20250175789
Abstract: A customer-premises equipment, CPE receives from a connected device via a first encrypted wireless connection an active media access control, MAC, address and a true MAC address of the connected device. The CPE receives from the connected device via a second wireless connection a data communication that contains the active MAC address of the connected device and omits the true MAC address of the connected device. In response to the CPE detecting that the data communication is addressed to an internal service within the CPE, the CPE associates the true MAC address of the connected device with the data communication, and transmits to the internal service the data communication that contains the active MAC address of the connected device and is associated with the true MAC address of the connected device.

  • Patent number: 12192164
Abstract: After a data packet containing an active medium access control (MAC) address of a connected device enters a customer-premises equipment (CPE), the active MAC address of the connected device is replaced with an earlier MAC address of the connected device. Before the data packet with the earlier MAC address exits the CPE, the earlier MAC address of the connected device is replaced with the active MAC address of the connected device.

  • Patent number: 11671437
Abstract: A network apparatus is configured to detect a network connection request on a platform having a hardware accelerator to process network traffic, wherein the hardware accelerator implements computing tasks related to data packets of at least part of the network traffic. The network apparatus is further configured to intercept the network traffic related to the network connection request before the start of the hardware accelerator process, to extract network connection data required by a network traffic analysis function from the network traffic, to allow the hardware accelerator to start acceleration process after the network connection data extraction has finished, and to analyse the network connection based on the extracted network connection data.

  • Publication number: 20080041416
Abstract: A dispensing brush is used to groom while deodorizing and/or styling the receiver. The receiver can be a human but is commonly a household pet such as a dog or cat. The brush is comprised of a head attached to a handle and includes a bristle cap mounted to the head. Within the handle or the head, an internal cavity is provided that is in communication with an intake reservoir. A pump is also provided within the head or handle of the brush with the intake of the pump in communication with the intake reservoir and a pump output provided through a void in the bristle cap. The intake reservoir includes a depression or other structure such as a wall to create a pocket of fluid, which is held in reserve in the internal cavity, thereby making it accessible to the intake of the pump even when the brush is moved in a variety of positions. The intake reservoir may also include a check valve to further aide in restricting fluid from flowing back into internal cavity from the intake reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20060224479
Abstract: A system and method for producing infrastructure health assessments enabling enterprises to monitor the health of individual technology portfolios and plan accordingly is disclosed. The tool uses two primary assessments to determine: 1) an infrastructure score based the general health of asset components; and 2) adaptability score based on asset components ability to interact with other elements within the asset. To generate the assessment scores, the tool accepts inventory input specific to a portfolio's assets and components. A user interacting with the tool provides classification information relating to each asset and component. The tool then calculates health assessment scores for both individual portfolio assets and for the portfolio as a whole.

  • Publication number: 20050025363
Abstract: A user interface allows a user to input handwritten, key-press, and spoken text in a seamless, synchronized manner. A text input panel accepts soft keyboard presses and handwritten words, characters, and gestures. A text recognizer/synchronizer integrates textual input from various sources while recognizing and preserving the order in which a user entered text via the soft keyboard, via handwriting, and/or by speaking. Synchronized text may be displayed in a stage area of the text input panel before being passed to an operating system message router and/or an application program. While in handwriting recognition mode, various permutations and combinations of a word recognition area, a character recognition area, and a keybar/keypad may optionally be displayed.
