  • Publication number: 20250138923
Abstract: A computing system includes a first computing device that executes an object-oriented software application which maintain objects, for example, in a heap data structure, in memory. The object-oriented software application includes an API to convert between objects in the memory and data in a relational database and transmit requests to perform one or more operations involving the data in the relational database corresponding to the objects in the memory. A decorator layer in communication with the API identifies the objects in the memory corresponding to the transmitted requests to perform one or more operations involving the data in the relational database. A local object storage API transfers copies of the identified objects to a local data store. A persistence API, in communication with the decorator layer and the object storage API, synchronizes the copied objects in the local data store with the data involved in the requests to perform the one or more operations with the relational database.

  • Publication number: 20250117374
Abstract: User information is protected by providing a protective layer between a provider and a user device. A server receives a suggestion to present to the user device from a third party, such as a provider of goods or services that wants to push the suggestion to the user device. The suggestion includes a request for user information. The server then determines a likelihood that the request for user information is a necessary component of the suggestion. When the likelihood is low, the request is removed from the suggestion. When the likelihood is high, the server creates an executable computer code that includes the request. The executable computer code can be transmitted to the user device to present the suggestion to the user device without disclosing the user's information to the server.

  • Patent number: 12271181
Abstract: A cloud-based edge-as-as-service (EaaS) system allows edge gateways to be easily configured and deployed on the cloud for collection, contextualization, and egress of industrial data to downstream applications, including analytic applications, work order management systems, or visualization systems. The EaaS system uses predefined device profiles to automatically discover relevant data items on plant floor devices and present these data items to a user. Model configuration interfaces served by the EaaS system allow the user to map selected data items to predefined models for organizing or contextualizing the selected data, and for egressing the contextualized data to the target applications. These model configurations can be deployed on the cloud platform as edge gateways that use the resulting information models to collect and contextualize relevant items of device data during runtime and to export the modeled data to the target application.

  • Patent number: 12269425
Abstract: Techniques are presented for enabling vehicle immobilization based on location. One method includes providing a user interface to configure immobilization settings. The vehicle is configured for threat detection, and a data structure is created to define locations where immobilization is enabled. A Behavioral Monitoring System (BMS) prepares and sends a hierarchical map structure to the vehicle's communication device, which determines when to immobilize the vehicle based on its location. The communication device and engine immobilizer are installed in the vehicle. Continuous monitoring for tampering and jamming is performed, and upon detection, the method checks if geographic locking is enabled. If geographic locking is enabled, the vehicle is immobilized according to configuration rules, and the BMS is notified. The immobilization process can be ended based on predefined configuration parameters, such as a time interval, recovery of GPS signal, or driver notification.

  • Publication number: 20250093018
Abstract: A security lighting apparatus having a threaded contact post for electrically coupling, via screw-in installation, with a standard Edison-style socket, wherein the threaded post rotates independently relative to the remainder of the security lighting apparatus. As a result, during the installation the head component of the security lighting apparatus remains stationary relative to a previously established orientation so that proper positioning of the security lighting functionality is undisturbed during installation. A lock ring disposed between the threaded contact post and remainder of the security lighting apparatus moves between a locked engagement and an unlocked engagement enabling the independent rotation of the threaded contact post.
