  • Patent number: 12141229
Abstract: One embodiment sets forth a technique for performing one or more matrix multiplication operations based on a first matrix and a second matrix. The technique includes receiving data associated with the first matrix from a first traversal engine that accesses nonzero elements included in the first matrix via a first tree structure. The technique also includes performing one or more computations on the data associated with the first matrix and the data associated with the second matrix to produce a plurality of partial results. The technique further includes combining the plurality of partial results into one or more intermediate results and storing the one or more intermediate results in a first buffer memory.

  • Patent number: 12141685
Abstract: Dynamic data quantization may be applied to minimize the power consumption of a system that implements a convolutional neural network (CNN). Under such a quantization scheme, a quantized representation of a 3×3 array of m-bit activation values may include 9 n-bit mantissa values and one exponent shared between the n-bit mantissa values (n<m); and a quantized representation of a 3×3 kernel with p-bit parameter values may include 9 q-bit mantissa values and one exponent shared between the q-bit mantissa values (q<p). Convolution of the kernel with the activation data may include computing a dot product of the 9 n-bit mantissa values with the 9 q-bit mantissa values, and summing the shared exponents. In a CNN with multiple kernels, multiple computing units (each corresponding to one of the kernels) may receive the quantized representation of the 3×3 array of m-bit activation values from the same quantization-alignment module.

  • Patent number: 12141451
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to memory page access instrumentation for generating a memory access profile. The memory access profile may be used to co-locate data near the processing unit that accesses the data, reducing memory access energy by minimizing distances to access data that is co-located with a different processing unit (i.e., remote data). Execution thread arrays and memory pages for execution of a program are partitioned across multiple processing units. The partitions are then each mapped to a specific processing unit to minimize inter-partition traffic given the processing unit physical topology.

  • Patent number: 12132309
Abstract: Systems and methods for testing a power plant emulation are disclosed. Software for an energy management system is deployed to a computer system comprising computing devices. A model of a power plant site is deployed to a test framework. Test commands and/or use cases are injected, via the test framework to public energy management system end points. The test commands and/or use cases are used to emulate and test the model of at least the portion of the power plant site and to generate simulated operating parameter values. The generated simulated operating parameter values of the model are compared with expected values. A determination is made as to whether the model passed testing using the comparison. After determining the model passed testing, software, corresponding to at least a portion of the model, is made available for deployment to operate a physical version of the power plant site.

  • Patent number: 12118550
Abstract: The present invention comprises a computer-implemented method for zero-trust authentication and session management utilizing the Bitcoin Lightning Network. A user requests access to the resource of a service provider and the user provides authentication material to securely access the service provider. The service provider initiates a Hold Invoice via a cryptographic function to generate a pre-image hash instructing the user to authorize release a specified amount of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is then moved into the Hold Invoice where it remains during an authentication attempt. A successful attempt issues an access token to log into an authenticated session. The Hold Invoice remains in place until the session ends, then the Hold Invoice is canceled and Bitcoin is released to the user. An unsuccessful attempt or a violations of terms of use, reveals the pre-image, denies the user access, and Bitcoin is transferred to the service provider as a settled payment transaction.

  • Publication number: 20240333640
Abstract: In response to a programmatic request, configuration information representing a multi-network-segment gateway established on behalf of a customer is stored at a networking service. In response to another programmatic request, a communication session is established between a route signaling node of the gateway and a routing information source located at a customer premise. In response to additional programmatic input, the networking service stores an indication that the gateway is to be used to transfer packets between a cloud-side virtual network and a customer-side virtual network. The routing information exchanged in the session pertains to the cloud-side and customer-side virtual network, and is used to transfer data packets between the two virtual networks.
