  • Patent number: 11586426
Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to release tools and deployment tools for software applications. A computing device includes a processor operatively coupled to a memory. The processor identifies one or more environments and a plurality of deployment operations to be performed to deploy a software application to the one or more environments. The processor generates a deployment plan having instructions to execute the one or more deployment operations. The processor executes the deployment plan to deploy the one or more release environments. The processor sends signals to a display to display progression through the deployment plan during deployment of the one or more release environments.

  • Patent number: 11336748
Abstract: Systems and techniques for deploying resources within a computing infrastructure are herein disclosed as comprising, in an implementation, executing a first deployment agent to perform a first deployment action, the first deployment agent configured to deploy a first resource to a first device; changing a deployment state of the first deployment agent responsive to performing the first deployment action; and executing a second deployment agent to perform a second deployment action, the second deployment agent configured to deploy a second resource to a second device. The second deployment agent performs the second deployment action in response to a change in a deployment state of an arbitrary deployment agent not explicitly identified within the second deployment agent. A deployment plan configured to cause the execution of the first and second deployment agents includes an identification of the first deployment agent as the arbitrary deployment agent.

  • Patent number: 11232177
Abstract: A system and method for performing licensing monitoring and compliance within a service provider platform are provided. The system comprises a memory and a processor configured to execute instructions stored within the memory. The system further comprises a central instance that executes on the processor and comprises a license repository containing licensing data for application components. The system further comprises a customer instance that includes a third-party application component installed within the customer instance from an application store. The system further includes a licensing module. The third-party application component is switchable between a monitor mode in which the licensing module reports usage of the third-party application component to the central instance and an enforcement mode in which the usage is controlled on the customer instance based on the license repository.

  • Patent number: 10983775
Abstract: A system for deploying software includes a processor programmed to identify a collection of deployable elements for use in deploying the software. The instructions also include instructions to receive information associating, with the collection of deployable elements, an item and an activity that is to be performed, using the item, when the software is deployed to a specified type of computing system. The instructions also include instructions to, using at least one of the collection of deployable elements, deploy the software to the specified type of computing system, and in response to a deployment of the software to the specified type of computing system, initiate performance of the activity.

  • Patent number: 10749946
Abstract: A system for provisioning resources within a computer network includes a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to cause the processor to identify a set of properties associated with a resource type based on a configuration item representative of a resource within a configuration management database (CMDB), determine a subset of the set of properties based on one or more deployment rules, wherein the subset of the set of properties comprises one or more properties of a parent configuration item of the configuration item, and provision, via a deployment agent, a new resource of the computer network, wherein the new resource has the subset of the set of properties.

  • Publication number: 20200176248
Abstract: A method for reducing the amount of mobile surface molecules present on a substrate surface includes providing a substrate having an area of interest, where the substrate is disposed within a controlled environment (e.g., a UHV environment). In some embodiments, a mask is positioned in a first position over the area of interest. Thereafter, a first deposition of a reactive material from a reactive material source is performed onto a first substrate region. The mask, while in the first position, blocks deposition of the reactive material within the area of interest. The mask may then positioned in a second position over the area of interest. In some embodiments, a second deposition of the reactive material from the reactive material source is performed to circumscribe the area of interest with the reactive material. In various embodiments, mobile surface molecules are captured using the deposited reactive material.

  • Patent number: 10495665
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems for controlling a scanning tunneling microscope system are provided. In some embodiments, the methods, devices, and systems of the present disclosure utilize a control system included in or added to a scanning tunneling microscope (STM) to receive data characterizing a tunneling current between a tip of the scanning tunneling microscope system and a sample, to estimate, in real-time, a work function associated with the scanning tunneling microscope system, and to adjust, by a control system, a position of the tip based on an estimated work function. Associated systems are described herein.
