  • Publication number: 20240137363
Abstract: In some examples, a system receives information from electronic devices comprising network devices and computing devices in a computing environment that are subject to attestations of interfaces of the network devices and the computing devices. For each interface of a given computing device being attested, the system verifies that the interface of the given computing device is connected to an interface of a corresponding network device that is being attested. For each interface of a given network device being attested, the system verifies that the interface of the given network device is connected to an interface of a corresponding computing device that is being attested or an interface of another network device that is being attested.

  • Publication number: 20240134462
Abstract: This application is directed to a method for controlling user experience (UX) operations on an electronic device that executes an application. A touchless UX operation associated with the application has an initiation condition including at least detection of a presence and a gesture in a required proximity range with a required confidence level. The electronic device then determines from a first sensor signal the proximity of the presence with respect to the electronic device. In accordance with a determination that the determined proximity is in the required proximity range, the electronic device determines from a second sensor signal a gesture associated with the proximity of the presence and an associated confidence level of the determination of the gesture. In accordance with a determination that the determined gesture and associated confidence level satisfy the initiation condition, the electronic device initializes the touchless UX operation associated with the application.

  • Publication number: 20240131271
Abstract: A drive train for a wind-up injection device is described. The drive train includes a torsional energy storage adapted to be loaded or unloaded by a rotatable element, a rotatable user handle, a rotationally driveable expelling mechanism adapted to expel the liquid drug, and a clutch element coupled with the torsional energy storage via the rotatable element and including a ratchet for maintaining the rotatable element at one of a number of discrete angular positions against the torque of the torsional energy storage. The clutch element is adapted to transmit the torque from the user handle to the torsional energy storage, or alternatively from the torsional energy storage to the expelling mechanism. The ratchet is switchable from one position to an adjacent position by a torque transmitted from the user handle to the torsional energy storage. The drive train is adapted to dampen torque peaks visco-elastically and/or visco-frictionally.

  • Patent number: 11964663
Abstract: Determining an instantaneous vehicle characteristic (e.g., at least one yaw rate) of an additional vehicle that is in addition to a vehicle being autonomously controlled, and adapting autonomous control of the vehicle based on the determined instantaneous vehicle characteristic of the additional vehicle. For example, autonomous steering, acceleration, and/or deceleration of the vehicle can be adapted based on a determined instantaneous vehicle characteristic of the additional vehicle. In many implementations, the instantaneous vehicle characteristics of the additional vehicle are determined based on data from a phase coherent Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) component of the vehicle, such as a phase coherent LIDAR monopulse component and/or a frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) LIDAR component.

  • Patent number: 11942197
Abstract: Systems and methods for surfacing contextually relevant data into the workflow of a third party system are discussed herein. The system implements a near-real-time method of detecting activity corresponding to particular electronic health records associated with particular patients in third-party systems using specifically configured software systems. A cloud-based micro-services architecture is communicably coupled to the third-party systems and is operable to transmit contextually relevant data to the third-party system in response to particular detected activities, such as accessing a patient's electronic health record. The contextually-relevant data is identified by comparing electronic health record data from various third-party systems, each third-party system associated with the particular patient, to determine gaps in the records. The contextually relevant data is transmitted to the third-party system and visually integrated into the third-party system's pre-existing clinical workflow.
