  • Patent number: 10689841
Abstract: A construction anchoring system includes one or more anchor apparatuses which are mountable relative to a form used to create a concrete support structure. The concrete is deposited in the form and cures whereby the one or more anchor apparatuses becomes embedded within the concrete support structure. The embedded anchor apparatus is readily accessible to be coupled with, or to support, construction supplies or equipment such as ductwork, electrical cables, plumbing, sprinklers, safety lines or fences, etc. within a construction site. A plurality of anchor apparatuses may be mounted relative to the concrete form to create a system for organizing the installation of construction materials and/or safety equipment.

  • Patent number: 10512259
Abstract: A rodent trap having a covered base defines an enclosed interior accessible through a sliding plastic tunnel defining a passageway for rodents into the interior. The tunnel has a projecting strike member, and is biased by an underlying spring to a retracted position. A trigger engaging member extends from the tunnel to be retained by a catch on a trigger mounted to the base. When a rodent passes through the tunnel into the base interior, it is directed by barriers towards a rodent attracting bait. To reach the bait, the rodent must press against a pivotably mounted trigger, thereby dislodging the trigger from the trigger engaging member which releases the tunnel to be driven by the spring to retract along parallel tracks to bring the strike plate forcibly against the rodent within the trap, usually killing it, and closing the trap.

  • Publication number: 20190330867
Abstract: A safety anchor apparatus is adapted for use in installation of a perimeter cable fall protection system at a construction site, e.g., involving concrete or masonry wall construction. The safety anchor apparatus may be mounted during construction of the masonry or cement block wall with relative ease and is capable of securing holding the support cable (e.g., steel cable) in a tensioned condition to meet all safety standards with regard to strength, load etc. The safety anchor apparatus is secured to embedded reinforcement bar extending through a column or rows of cement blocks. The safety anchor apparatus is selectively adjustable to accommodate masonry blocks of different sizes which may be used during construction of the support wall. Moreover, the safety anchor apparatus is adjustable to account for variations in wall design and readily deployable about the vertical reinforcement bar during application of the rows of cement blocks.

  • Publication number: 20190327955
Abstract: A trap has a housing including an entrance. Internally, the trap has a trigger structure including a trigger plate and a latch mechanism, coupled with the housing; and a pivoting structure pivotally coupled with the housing and adapted to releasably engage with the latch mechanism of the trigger structure. When the trap is triggered by a rodent, the pivoting structure disengages from the latch mechanism and the pivoting structure pivots towards a rear wall of the housing and the trigger plate, and the trigger plate pivots toward the pivoting structure, moving the rodent against towards the rear wall of the housing and trapping the rodent between the pivoting structure and the rear wall. Once the trap is triggered, the rodent is contained and in most cases, killed, within the trap.

  • Patent number: 10362777
Abstract: A rodent bait station has a base with a hinged cover which is lockable to the base to define an interior volume which can receive a ballast weight of three to twenty-four pounds which biases a floor of the base against a support surface. At least one rodent access opening in the bait station allows a rodent to pass into the interior volume. A bait or a rodent trap is positioned within the interior volume such that a rodent can move freely within the interior volume so as to access the bait or rodent trap.

  • Patent number: 9930880
Abstract: A rodent bait station for retention of sachet bait, which is a malleable bait retained within a porous bag or package having sidewardly protruding flaps. The bait station may be a molded plastic structure with a lid hinged to a base. Base walls define a bait compartment sized to receive the sachet bait such that the flaps overlie the opposed bait compartment base walls. The lid has downwardly protruding bait compartment walls which overlie the base bait compartment walls. Undulating or jagged teeth are formed on the lid and base bait compartment walls. When the lid is closed on the base, the teeth projecting from the lid cooperate with the teeth protruding from the base, thereby engaging and clamping a retained sachet bait package flaps to thus retain the package with the bait station even after a rodent has broken into the package to access the poison contained therein.

  • Patent number: 9532564
Abstract: A pre-baited consumer bait station for rodents which is gnaw resistant and has other design features to make the bait station resistant to rodenticide access by children, dogs, other pets, domestic animals, and nontarget wildlife. An injection molded translucent cover is permanently locked to a base about the cover's edges and center by elastic actuated hooks which engage receptacles on the base. The cover forms a labyrinth joint with a peripheral wall of the base. Double walls on exterior portions of the peripheral wall strengthen the walls where they form part of a closely confining bait receptacle which surrounds a bait block on portions of all sides. Circuitous internal passageways limit access to the bait. An interior wall extends to support the cover center.

  • Publication number: 20150335003
Abstract: An insect toxic bait dispenser has a top with a downwardly opening compartments in which toxic bait fluids may be retained by an underlying foil barrier. The top is supported on a base with posts positioned beneath the barrier. Base prongs extend into a top shaft with ledges at different heights, preventing part separation when the barrier is intact above the posts, and, when the top is closed on the base, piercing the foil seal and dispensing liquids into fluid retaining members held in base pockets. To use, a peripheral tear strip is removed from the base, permitting the top to descend on the base causing the posts to puncture the seal, compressing the fluid retaining members against the barrier to receive and dispense toxic bait liquid while retarding the rate of liquid evaporation. The top may be hinged to the base, or urged downwardly by a threaded cap.

  • Patent number: 8984802
Abstract: A rodent bait station has a plastic base with a bottom opening which receives a removable bait receptacle which is engaged by two resilient fingers to the base, and secured by a downward projection from the lid, which offers a child-resistant latch, such that the bait receptacle can only be removed for rebaiting by simultaneously deflecting the downward projection and the two fingers while extracting the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 8793929
Abstract: A rodent bait station has a base with a hinged cover. A ballast weight is received within the base. A removable tray with compartments for bait or mechanical traps overlies the ballast weight. The tray has a landing which is positioned between two ramps molded into the base which extend from rodent access openings at floor level. A latching arrangement between the base and the lid closes the bait station, and may be opened by a removable key. The key may be provided with an optional actuation bar, which allows the key to be converted to a latch only mechanism for opening the bait station.
