  • Publication number: 20250055464
Abstract: A method for controlled phase adjustment and coherent modulation in a radio frequency transceiver is provided. The radio frequency transceiver comprises an analogue circuitry for transmitting and receiving radio frequency signals and an all-digital phase locked loop controlled by a Phase Locked Loop, PLL, Control unit (200). The method comprises: receiving a phase shift, and based thereon, deriving a corresponding digital control signal; inputting the digital control signal to the PLL Control unit (200), the control signal defining a temporary iteration pattern of delays to be used by a configurable delay block, DTC (240); locking a radio frequency oscillator signal of a Digital Controlled Oscillator (220) in the phase locked loop to the temporary iteration pattern of delays; adjusting the phase of the frequency signal in digital circuitry, until the signal phase matches the phase shift defined by the digital control signal.

  • Patent number: 12221893
Abstract: A method of controlling an aeronautical gas turbine engine may be performed with an electronic controller. The method may include determining an airfoil pitch control command for at least one of a plurality of airfoils of the aeronautical gas turbine engine based at least in part on an excitation load acting upon the aeronautical gas turbine engine, and outputting the airfoil pitch control command to one or more actuators actuatable to change a pitch angle of the at least one of the plurality of airfoils. The airfoil pitch control command may be configured to augment and/or compensate for the excitation load acting upon the aeronautical gas turbine engine. The method may be embodied by a non-transitory computer-readable medium that includes computer-executable instructions, which when executed by a processor associated with the electronic controller, cause the electronic controller to perform the method.

  • Patent number: 12221213
Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is disclosed that includes a retractable payload delivery system. The payload delivery system can lower a payload to the ground using a delivery device that secures the payload during descent and releases the payload upon reaching the ground. The location of the delivery device can be determined as it is lowered to the ground using image tracking. The UAV can include an imaging system that captures image data of the suspended delivery device and identifies image coordinates of the delivery device, and the image coordinates can then be mapped to a location. The UAV may also be configured to account for any deviations from a planned path of descent in real time to effect accurate delivery locations of released payloads.

  • Publication number: 20250030639
Abstract: A quality of service management system includes a rules engine that receives information associated with a communication path having an assigned quality of service (QoS) to be provided for a customer communication device, and identifies one or more network elements assigned to provide the communication path. Each network element having a plurality of queues configured to provide varying QoS levels relative to one another. For each of the network elements, the rules engine determines at least one queue that is configured to provide the communication path at the assigned quality of service, and transmits queue information associated with the determined queue to its respective network element, the network element conveying the communication path through the determined queue.

  • Publication number: 20250002325
Abstract: A beverage dispense apparatus and associated method, comprises a frame (11) for removably locating and holding a sealed beverage unit package (C) in a vertical orientation. A first piercing element (14) punctures a vent opening into a headspace of the beverage package (C) and, subsequently as the first piercing element is driven downward, a second piercing element (15) punctures an outlet opening into the beverage package so that beverage can flow through a nozzle (17) under gravity. An ultrasonic transducer (16) against the nozzle (17) may supply excitation energy that breaks gas out of solution so that a creamy head is formed on the beverage in a delivery vessel underneath the frame. Control of the vent opening/vale (13) enables flow to be slowed or stopped through the nozzle (17) enabling a settle time and “two-part” pour.

  • Publication number: 20250005570
Abstract: An automated shipment transaction system is provided. The automated shipment transaction system automated various aspects of the shipment process involving brokers, carriers, shippers, etc. For example, the system may store profiles for various brokers and carriers (and/or other entities). When a carrier desires to onboard with a broker, the stored information may automatically be obtained to eliminate the need for the carrier to manually complete paperwork. At the completion of the shipment by the carrier, the carrier may be automatically paid by the system based on financial institution information stored for the broker. The system may verify that the correct carrier is picking-up a load and may also verify that the load is dropped-off at its destination using geo-fencing, for example. The system may also generate scores for entities, which may provide an indication of the quality of the entity.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for payment system that uses one-time use tokens for securely facilitating and controlling user purchases using company funds. A user (e.g., driver) may generate a request to make a purchase using a user application. The request may be sent to a server running a payment system that may generate a one-time use token for the purchase of an item (e.g., fuel). The one-time use token may have an expiration time and may only be redeemable at certain locations (e.g., fueling stations) that have been preapproved. The system may send the user application running on the user device the token for purchasing fuel and approved locations. The user may input the token to a controller at an approved location which may request that the server authenticate the token and approve the purchase. Once authenticated and approved, the controller may permit the purchase of the desired item.

  • Publication number: 20240337593
Abstract: A first set of data characterizing a spectrum of light emitted or reflected by an object is received from a linear light sensor. Each pixel of the linear light sensor corresponds to a specified range of light frequencies. The data includes a first intensity of each pixel at a first sample rate. A subset of pixels is classified as points of interest within the first set of data. A second sample rate of each pixel is determined for each of the subset of pixels. A second set of data characterizing the spectrum of the light is retrieved. The second set of data includes a second intensity of each of the subset of pixels at the second sample rate. The first set of data and the second set of data are combined to produce a third set of data characterizing the spectrum.
