  • Publication number: 20250087472
Abstract: In an apparatus and related method, a substrate that has multiple facets is held in a chamber of a plasma reactor that has multiple plasma cavities. The substrate is positioned by a transport arrangement with each plasma cavity of the plasma reactor aligned to a facet of the substrate. A plasma is generated in each plasma cavity, to apply simultaneous plasma processing to multiple facets of the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20240415866
Abstract: The present invention provides, among other things, methods and compositions for treating primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) based on mRNA therapy. The present invention is based, in part, on the surprising discovery that administration of the mRNA encoding a DNAI1 protein at a dose ranging from 1 mg to 36 mg daily for five consecutive days resulted in restoration of ciliary function in PCD. Additionally, the methods of the present invention resulted in expression of the DNAI1 protein in airway epithelium at a level at least 10% of the wild-type level, an increase ciliary beat frequency (CBF), and DNAI1-positive transfection efficiency of greater than 5% in ciliated cells.

  • Publication number: 20240402648
Abstract: The invention improves holographic imaging systems by being modular with deployment in a lens-less configuration or with a microscope objective, leading to a resolution range of 5.5 and to 0.5 ?m/pixel, respectively, and resulting in a resolvable particle size range of several microns to a few cm between two setups. The invention includes variable sampling length between two windows (e.g., a sampling volume of 71.4 mL per hologram at 12 cm). Holograms are recorded with a 4920×3280 pixels digital camera. i.e., 15.3 MB per image, at a maximum rate of 3.2 Hz, such that free stream water sampling a 14 L/minute occurs. This is orders of magnitude higher than sampling of other imaging systems while including larger/variable sample volume, inclusion of copper shutters to prevent biofouling during long-term deployments, including deployment in different operation modes. No single previous system achieves all these things at the same time.

  • Publication number: 20240127320
Abstract: A purchasing permission utilizing a non-fungible token system includes a method of securely transferring a good comprising the steps of providing a physical product and creating a non-fungible token (NFT) associated with the physical product. The NFT is transferred to a prospective buyer of the physical product and the identification information of the prospective buyer is recorded in a blockchain which contains the NFT. The physical product is offered for sale on a digital platform the prospective buyer is allowed to purchase the physical product by validation of the NFT's association with the physical product.

  • Patent number: 10691659
Abstract: Computerized systems and methods are provided for integrating copy data tokens with source code repositories. A first command associated with the version control system stores in the memory a copy of source code and a copy of the data token from the remote repository, comprising source data and mount data. A second command associated with the version control system is executed to create a version of the source code stored in the memory. Based on the execution of the second command a working copy of the copy data is created based on the data token for use with the version of the source code, comprising creating a copy of the copy data from the data source based on the source data, and mounting the working copy to the device based on the mount data, thereby automatically managing the copy data for the version control system.
