Abstract: A firearm can have a bolt having a plurality of locking lugs that are configured to have a shear area that is at least approximately 1.3 times that of a standard M16/M4. A piston can be formed on the bolt and can have a plurality of rings that are configured to cooperate with the piston to mitigate gas leakage past the piston. Each of the rings can have a key formed thereon and a gap formed therein such that the gap of one ring is configured to receive at least a portion of the key of another ring. The bolt carrier can have a double cut cam.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a video game steering wheel mount for mounting video games steering wheels. The invention comprise of a base where the user sits, a mounting plate to mount the video game steering wheel, an extension post connecting the base as well as the mounting plate. Weight of the user is utilized to stabilize the device. The invention bears adjustable angles which can be flexibly adjusted as per the user's preference.

Abstract: A component of a rotary wing aircraft is provided including a surface configured to contact another component of the rotary wing aircraft such that the surface is susceptible to corrosion and/or pitting. The surface has an area from which a portion of material was removed. A structural deposit is formed by cold spraying one or more layers of powdered material within the area. The structural deposit is configured to carry a load applied to the component.

Abstract: A magnesium component of a rotary wing aircraft is provided including a groove including a first sidewall and a second sidewall arranged on opposing sides of a recessed opening. The first sidewall includes a deposit positioned adjacent the recessed opening. The deposit is formed by cold spraying one or more layers or powdered material within an area of the first sidewall from which material was removed.

Abstract: There is provided a method of reducing traffic on a data network. The method includes (i) reading an indicator of whether a last attempted communication with a network device was successful, and (ii) performing discovery of the network device at each time specified by a first schedule in response to the indicator indicating that the last attempted communication with the network device was successful, and at each time specified by a second schedule in response to the indicator indicating that the last attempted communication with the network device was not successful. There is also provided a system that performs the method, and a storage device that contains a program that controls a processor to perform the method.

Abstract: A gas regulator block can be configured to mount to a barrel of a firearm. A gas regulator can be disposed substantially within the gas regulator block and can be configured to adjustably vary an amount of gas flow through the gas regulator block. A cover may be configured to cover a portion of the gas regulator block to inhibit inadvertent adjustment of the amount of gas flow and configured to uncover the portion of the gas regulator block to facilitate intentional adjustment of the amount of gas flow. A gas passage can be formed in the gas regulator block in a forward location and the gas port can be configured to communicate gas from the barrel to the gas regulator.

Abstract: An infusion set system, including a base and a fluid connector removably coupleable thereto is disclosed. The fluid connector includes a fluid path portion and at least one connector latch displaceably connected to the fluid path portion and displaceable to a latching position in which at least a portion of the connector latch extends into the fluid path portion, which includes a cannula extending from a top interior surface thereof, and a plurality of internal sidewalls corresponding to at least two of a plurality of flat side surfaces of at least one of a base section and a base latch, thereby facilitating connection between the base and the fluid connector in a plurality of discrete rotational connecting positions. When the fluid connector is locked to the base, the at least one connector latch engages a base latching portion of the base and restricts proximal displacement of the fluid connector.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to identify priorities of compliance assessment results of a virtual computing environment. An example method disclosed herein to identify priorities for defects includes associating, with a processor, a first defect with an asset class and a repair action, the first defect indicative of a computing resource being out of compliance with a policy, determining, with the processor, a priority for the defect based on past repair actions performed to correct past defects corresponding to the same asset class, and displaying the defect in rank order with a plurality of other defects based on the priority.

An example method disclosed herein includes determining, with a processor, a maximum surprisal value of a policy to be enforced on a computing resource in a computing environment, the maximum surprisal value corresponding to a probability of the computing resource being in-compliance with the policy without testing the computing resource with respect to the policy, determining a current surprisal value of the computing resource with respect to the policy based on knowledge of at least one condition of policy being at least one of satisfied by or inapplicable to the computing resource, and determining a compliance score of the computing resource with respect to the policy based on the maximum surprisal value of the policy and the current surprisal value of the computing resource with respect to the policy.

An inner follower spring may remain nested within the outer follower such that the two followers coordinate the advance of the two separated double columns of cartridges toward tapered surfaces that merge the two double columns into two single columns proximate the top of the dividing wall.

Abstract: A tool for applying a fastener, such as a stud, is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the tool applies the fastener assembled with an applicator. The applicator has at least two legs. The tool includes a housing portion configured to releasably receive the fastener and the applicator. The tool further includes an actuating portion slidingly connected to the housing portion and having one or more projections. Movement of the actuating portion towards the contact surface presses the fastener against the contact surface and bends the at least two legs of the applicator towards the contact surface.
