Abstract: A system to prevent unauthorized access to a protected device includes a test access port operable to mate with a test access connector, a security key port operable to mate with a security key and a security device in electrical communication with the test access port and the security key port. The protected device is in electrical communication with the test access port when the security device is enabled based on the security key. The test equipment is authorized for access to the protected device when the security device is enabled.

Abstract: An optical anti-tamper system including a light emitting layer located within a chassis, a light detecting layer located within the chassis and one or more detectors optically coupled to the light detecting layer. The one or more detectors are in communication with an alarm. The alarm is operable to transmit a tamper-event warning signal if an increased light level is detected by at least one detector.

Abstract: A vertically swingable rear gate assembly for closing an open rear side of a shopping cart basket. The gate assembly includes a monolithic one-piece plate-like molded plastic gate member sized to substantially close off the rear side of the basket. A rigid one-piece connecting frame is disposed primarily adjacent a rear side of the gate member and includes a pair of generally transversely aligned top hinge parts for vertical hinged connection to the shopping cart. The connecting frame, adjacent an upper edge, has a downwardly-opening, transverse channel structure which engages over and confines an upper edge portion of the gate member. The lower part of the connecting frame is fixedly joined to the gate member at a location adjacent the bottom edge thereof.

Multiple guide wheel assemblies engaging the lower run of the drive belt distribute the vehicle load across substantially the full width of the belt. Each guide wheel assembly includes a pair of guide wheel units mounted on opposite end portions of a common spindle and on opposite sides of a carrier beam of the track unit. Each guide wheel unit has a wide belt-engaging surface extending to, or close to, an edge portion of the belt and interrupted by an annular groove permitting passage of a row of the belt drive lugs while maintaining alignment of the belt and drive wheel assembly.

An attachment clip is operatively mounted within an elongated groove in the back plate. The clip member has at least one keyhole groove comprising an opening and a slot. An ornamental corner insert with at least one attachment member selectively slidingly engages the keyhole groove in the attachment clip such that the ornamental corner insert may be selectively mounted to or removed from the back plate. The attachment clip includes an indexing member. When the attachment clip is installed, the indexing member extends into a throughhole in the elongated groove in the back plate. The indexing member properly orients the attachment clip in the elongated groove. Other embodiments of the invention are also disclosed.

The chamber is defined by a pair of outwardly-projecting sidewalls, and the inlet is disposed at the upstream end of the chamber. This particular embodiment further includes at least two feedback passages with opposed entrances at the downstream end of the chamber and opposed exits at the upstream end of the chamber, near where the chamber joins the inlet. At least one feedback outlet leaves each of the feedback passages. A feedback cavity is disposed at the downstream end of the chamber. At least one exit flowline having an exit port leaves the at least one feedback outlet.

A guide wheel assembly includes a hub adapted to be rotatably mounted on an axle, the hub having axially-spaced outer flanges of an outer diameter no greater than a first diameter. A central flange on the hub extends radially outwardly beyond the first diameter. A pair of outer axially-spaced wheels are mounted on the outer flanges and a central ring-like wheel having an inner diameter greater than the first diameter is secured to the central flange. The hub is generally an integral, or unitary, element adapted to be mounted on an axle and supports all three wheels. The wheels are substantially rigid rings, and each has an elastomeric covering formed about its periphery for cushioned engagement with the track.

Abstract: An air freshener for use, for example, in an automotive vehicle in which an annular scented pad is disposed within a hollow housing formed of mating, shallow, pan-shaped tray sections. One of the tray sections includes an annular axial hub. The other tray section has a guide extending outward therefrom and engageable with the hub to releasably secure the tray sections together with the scented pad entrapped therein. A restraining ridge about the hub holds the pad in position. A double sided pressure sensitive adhesive is fastened to one of the tray sections and is used to secure the housing to a surface within the atomotive vehicle in immobile fashion.
