Patent number: 10084911Abstract: A personalized interactive service is provided by setting a profile of an individual for use by an entity that provides the interactive service. At least a portion of the profile is set independent of any network communication session between the individual and the entity. A personalized interactive script is personalized for the individual in the event that the individual initiates a communication with the entity to obtain the interactive service. The personalized interactive service is provided to the individual when the personalized interactive script is executed based on the individual initiating a communication session between the individual and the entity.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2014Date of Patent: September 25, 2018Assignee: AT&T INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY I, L.P.Inventors: Alireza Hooshiari, James W. Patent number: 10056967Abstract: Based on electronic communication received from a wireless device or from an access point, it is determined that a wireless signal relay is needed between the wireless device and the access point. In response to the determination, a drone is deployed between the wireless device and the access point to relay wireless signals between the wireless device and the access point. The deployed drone measures a first strength of a first wireless signal received from the wireless device or measures a second strength of a second wireless signal received from the access point. Based on the measurements, it is determined that the wireless device has moved relative to the access point after the drone has been deployed. In response to the determining that the wireless device has moved, the location of the drone is adjusted to maintain the first strength or the second strength above a predetermined level.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2017Date of Patent: August 21, 2018Assignee: AT&T INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY I, L.P.Inventors: James W. Patent number: 9992277Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to ephemeral feedback instances. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a policy engine can receive data and a policy request from a policy requestor. The policy engine also can determine whether a policy is available to satisfy the policy request. If the policy engine determines that a policy is available to satisfy the policy request, the policy engine can retrieve, from a policy repository, the policy to satisfy the request and can instruct one or more policy enforcement points to enforce the policy. If the policy engine determines that a policy is not available to satisfy the policy request, the policy engine can perform a feedback instance method to satisfy the policy request.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2015Date of Patent: June 5, 2018Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: James W. Fan, Jeffrey A. Aaron

Patent number: 9930077Abstract: Interactive services are enhanced by intercepting, in a telecommunications network, a session initiation protocol message used to initiate a communication. The session initiation protocol message is intercepted prior to terminating at a recipient computer configured to provide interactive services for the communication. Based on predetermined rules, supplemental information is determined to provide to the recipient computer of the communication. The supplemental information is inserted into the session initiation protocol message prior to the terminating at the recipient computer. The session initiation protocol message with the supplemental information is routed to the recipient computer that provides the interactive services for the communication. The interactive services are provided based at least in part on the supplemental information.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2017Date of Patent: March 27, 2018Assignee: AT&T INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY I, L.P.Inventors: James W. Patent number: 9524200Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to consultation among feedback instances. According to one aspect, a system can receive a feedback instance consultation request for a consultation among an original feedback instance and a target feedback instance. The target feedback instance can be consulted with by the original feedback instance to enable the original feedback instance to cure a deficiency. The system can examine the feedback instance consultation request to determine if a match exists with an application programming interface associated with a target feedback instance model upon which the target feedback instance is based. If examination of the feedback instance consultation request determines that a match exists, the system can update the target feedback instance model with an intercommunication plan by which the consultation can occur. The system also can update an original feedback instance model upon which the original feedback instance is based.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2015Date of Patent: December 20, 2016Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: James W. Patent number: 9491785Abstract: A supplemental rescue resources system can receive an emergency alert message from a mobile device and use data from the message and other sources to determine and select appropriate supplemental rescue resources, which may include may include any person that has volunteered or is otherwise a participant in the system that is not an on-duty emergency responder. The supplemental rescue resources system may select a supplemental rescue resources based on the location of such resources relative to the location of an incident, and/or the qualifications and/or preferences of such resources. The supplemental rescue resources system may direct resources to the incident and notify emergency services providers of the supplemental resources.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2015Date of Patent: November 8, 2016Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: James W. Publication number: 20160295422Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to multiple feedback instance inter-coordination to determine optimal actions. According to one aspect, a system can receive a plurality of events associated with a group of feedback instances operating in a runtime. The system can examine the plurality of events to determine if a match exists between the plurality of events and an optimization plan. If so, the system can instruct a further system to realize the optimization plan. If not, the system can identify an extensibility of a feedback instance in the group of feedback instances. The extensibility can extend functionality of the feedback instance to provide additional information responsive to an event of the plurality of events. The system can update a feedback instance model associated with the feedback instance for which the extensibility was identified and can instruct the further system to extend the scope of the feedback instance.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2015Publication date: October 6, 2016Applicant: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: James W.
