  • Publication number: 20220226303
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to compositions that are useful in the delivery of various materials. In particular, the compositions comprise a suspension wherein an internal phase material is surrounded by an external phase material. The internal phase specifically can be a hydrophilic material, and the external phase specifically can be a hydrophobic material. The materials are combined so that the internal phase is substantially encapsulated by the external phase such that release can be controlled in relation to osmotic pressure differentials. The suspension can be combined with a carrier, and various systems and products can be formed with the suspension and optional carrier, such as oral strips, spray delivery systems, smokeless tobacco products, aerosol delivery devices, cigarettes, and packaging.

  • Patent number: 11393121
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods are described for generating dense depth estimates, and confidence values associated with such depth estimates, from image data. A machine learning algorithm can be trained using image data and associated depth values captured by one or more LIDAR sensors providing a ground truth. When the algorithm is deployed in a machine vision system, image data and/or depth data can be used to determine dense depth estimates for all pixels of the image data, as well as confidence values for each depth estimate. Such confidence values may be indicative of how confident the machine learned algorithm is of the associated depth estimate.

  • Publication number: 20220222594
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for facilitating analysis of attribution models. In embodiments described herein, an indication to compare a set of attribution models is received. For each attribution model, a lift score is determined that indicates an extent of improvement as compared to a baseline attribution model. The lift score can be generated based at least on a divergence between a weighted-positive path distribution and a negative path distribution determined using a sign correction term and/or on a divergence between a weighted-positive path distribution and a reference distribution, which reflects the deviation between positive and negative paths. The weighted-positive path distribution reflects attribution scores, generated via the corresponding attribution model, applied as weights to a positive event paths and used to produce a distribution.

  • Patent number: 11386356
Abstract: A first path associated with a first interface of a first provider is determined, with the first interface being of a first type. A second path associated with a second interface of the first provider is determined, with the second interface being of a second type. The first path is determined to be a mismatch to the second path. A third path corresponding to an additional interface of the first type is obtained from a second provider. A dictionary is generated based on the third path matching the first path. Vectors corresponding to the first and second types are generated based on the dictionary. A machine learning algorithm is trained based on the vectors with the first and second types as a ground truth values.

  • Patent number: 11380108
Abstract: The described techniques relate to predicting object behavior based on top-down representations of an environment comprising top-down representations of image features in the environment. For example, a top-down representation may comprise a multi-channel image that includes semantic map information along with additional information for a target object and/or other objects in an environment. A top-down image feature representation may also be a multi-channel image that incorporates various tensors for different image features with channels of the multi-channel image, and may be generated directly from an input image. A prediction component can generate predictions of object behavior based at least in part on the top-down image feature representation, and in some cases, can generate predictions based on the top-down image feature representation together with the additional top-down representation.

  • Patent number: 11379684
Abstract: Techniques are discussed for segmenting sensor data captured by a sensor to remove a ground surface from the sensor data. A first technique includes capturing sensor data represented as multichannel image and segmenting the image according to image processing techniques. The ground surface can be removed from the sensor data, and a subset of the sensor data can be associated with a voxel space. A second technique includes capturing sensor data and unprojecting the sensor data to generate three dimensional data, which can be associated with a voxel space. Ground plane data associated with a location can be accessed or determined and voxel data that is within a threshold height of the ground plane data can be removed from the voxel space. Clustering techniques can determine objects represented in the data, and a vehicle can be controlled based on the objects.

  • Publication number: 20220204975
Abstract: The present specification provides compositions and methods that are capable of directly installing an insertion or deletion of a given nucleotide at a specified genetic locus. The compositions and methods involve the novel combination of the use an engineered RNA enzyme (i.e., “ribozyme”) that is capable of site-specifically inserting or deleting a single nucleotide at a genetic locus and the use of a nucleic acid programmable DNA binding protein (napDNAbp) (e.g., Cas9) to target the engineered ribozyme to a specified genetic locus, thereby allowing for the direct installation of an insertion of deletion at the specified genetic locus by the engineered ribozyme.
