  • Patent number: 11200672
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for modeling neural architecture. Regions of interest of a brain of a subject can be identified based on image data characterizing the brain of the subject. the identified regions of interest can be mapped to a connectivity matrix. The connectivity matrix can be a weighted and undirected network. A multivariate transformation can be applied to the connectivity matrix to transform the connectivity matrix into a partial correlation matrix. The multivariate transformation can maintain a positive definite constraint for the connectivity matrix. The partial correlation matrix can be transformed into a neural model indicative of the connectivity matrix.

  • Patent number: 11194423
Abstract: A system and method for autonomously scanning a sensor panel device is disclosed. A sensor panel processor can be disabled after a first predetermined amount of time has elapsed without the sensor panel device sensing any events. One or more system clocks can also be disabled to conserve power. While the processor and one or more system clocks are disabled, the sensor panel device can periodically autonomously scan the sensor panel for touch activity. If one or more results from the autonomous scans exceed a threshold, the sensor panel device re-enables the processor and one or more clocks to actively scan the sensor panel. If the threshold is not exceeded, the sensor panel device continues to periodically autonomously scan the sensor panel without intervention from the processor. The sensor panel device can periodically perform calibration functions to account for any drift that may be present in the system.

  • Publication number: 20210371645
Abstract: In one or more embodiments, the present invention provides a low molecular weight, non-toxic, resorbable poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG)-block-poly(propylene fumarate) (PPF) diblock copolymers and poly(propylene fumarate) (PPF)-block-poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG)-block-poly(propylene fumarate) (PPF) triblock copolymers (and related methods for their making and use) that permits hydration for the formation of such things as hydrogels and has constrained and predictable material properties suitable for 3D printing and drug delivery applications. Using continuous digital light processing (cDLP) hydrogels the diblock and triblock copolymers can be photochemically printed from an aqueous solution into structures having a 10-fold increase in elongation at break compared to traditional diethyl fumarate (DEF) based printing. Furthermore, PPF-PEG-PPF triblock hydrogels have also been found in vitro to be biocompatible across a number of engineered MC3T3, NIH3T3, and primary Schwann cells.

  • Patent number: 11182748
Abstract: In the present disclosure, artificial intelligence (AI) processing is trained and leveraged to learn user-specific insights that are contextually relevant to a state of a user communication. Contextual information about a state of a user communication may be collected and analyzed. That contextual information may be cross-referenced with an extensive knowledge graph that is constructed from user context data. Exemplary AI processing may further be trained to apply a relevance analysis to assist with processing described herein including generation and curation of data insights that are most relevant to a state of a user communication. In some examples, the data insight generation process may be augmented by pre-generating data insights that may be relevant to a user communication prior to occurrence of the user communication. Further technical examples pertain to the rendering and presentation of representations of data insights through a graphical user interface (GUI).

  • Publication number: 20210358579
Abstract: A method is described for training a predictive model which increases the interpretability and trustworthiness of the model for end-users. The model is trained from data having multitude of features. Each feature is associated with a real value and a time component. Many predicates (atomic elements for training the model) are defined as binary functions operating on the features, and typically time sequences of the features or logical combinations thereof. The predicates can be limited to those functions which have human understandability or encode expert knowledge relative to a predication task of the model. We iteratively train a boosting model with input from an operator or human-in-the-loop. The human-in-the-loop is provided with tools to inspect the model as it is iteratively built and remove one or more of the predicates in the model, e.g. if it does not have indicia of trustworthiness, is not causally related to a prediction of the model, or is not understandable.

  • Patent number: 11171978
Abstract: Technologies are provided for the monitoring, detection, and notification of emerging, related issues within a system, which may indicate a problem. Within a computing-security system, a sudden increase in the frequency of events associated with unauthorized logon attempts signal a real-time and ongoing security risk. A method monitors system-related events and generates a vector representation for each event based on event features. Clusters of related events are determined, and a state automaton is employed to determine a strength of temporal “bursty” activity for each cluster. Hypothesis testing is performed on each cluster to determine a likelihood that the cluster is a temporally emergent cluster. Clusters with a bursting likelihood above a threshold are determined to be an emergent cluster associated with an anomalous issue. A notification regarding the detected anomaly is provided. A remedial action addressing the anomaly is performed.

Abstract: An audio stream is subjected to speech-to-text processing in order to obtain a textual representation of the audio stream. Hierarchical topic extraction is performed on the textual representation to obtain a multi-level hierarchical topic representation of the textual representation. A user interface actuator is generated, which allows a user to search through the audio stream. Different levels of the multi-level hierarchical topic representation are displayed to the user, based upon the speed of actuation of the user interface actuator.

  • Publication number: 20210328996
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a program for recovering access to a service associated with an account. The program provides a login credential to log into the account to receive the associated service. Next, the program receives an access continuation parameter (ACP) after logging into the account. The program then accesses the service and receives a rejection of a subsequent access to the service. The program then provides the ACP in lieu of the login credential to continue to receive the service.

  • Patent number: 11125017
Abstract: System and method for analyzing and evaluating the performance of a directional driller (“DD”) include acquiring and analyzing drilling data in real time, identifying activities and decisions that are the responsibility of the directional driller, and confirming whether or not the directional driller's decisions were appropriate or not and in what timeframe. The system and method may provide output information for evaluation purposes, for example, in the form of a directional drilling quality report. The directional drilling quality report may allow evaluation of an individual directional driller and also comparison of directional drillers relative to each other. The use of real-time drilling data allows the report to be modified to reflect actual drilling conditions and objectives as needed.
