    Abstract: A method for handling DL and UL HARQ transmissions for a UE. The method includes performing a first HARQ transmission including information related to a single HARQ process to the UE with an associated new data indicator, NDI. Toggling of the NDI indicates at least a change of information of the single HARQ process over a previous HARQ transmission and the first HARQ transmission moreover starting a C-DRX inactivity timer, and determining that a HARQ NACK has been received for the transmitted information from the UE. The method includes detecting a measurement gap has started and awaiting an end of the measurement gap. If the C-DRX inactivity timer has not expired at a time where the measurement gap has ended, then performing a second HARQ transmission of the information, with associated NDI to the UE for the single HARQ process. The value of the NDI is toggled in relation to a value of the NDI of the first HARQ transmission.

    Abstract: A telecommunication system comprises a radio network controller (RNC), and a Node-B (NB) for enabling wireless communication with a user terminal (UE). The RNC establishes an enhanced dedicated transport channel (E-DCH) which enables uplink data traffic with a determined maximum data rate from the user terminal (UE) to the NB. The RNC further establishes a high speed DL shared channel (HS-DSCH) which enables downlink data traffic with a determined maximum data rate from the NB to the user terminal. The NB comprises a HSDPA scheduler (HS-S) scheduling the data rate for the DL data traffic via the HS-DSCH and a EUL scheduler (EUL-S) scheduling the maximum data rate for the UL data traffic via the E-DCH. The NB exchanges data rate information between the HS-S and the EUL-S. Furthermore, the NB monitors the quotient (Q) between DL data rate and the UL data rate.

    Abstract: Reliable and efficient search windows are provided by allowing the adaptation of the code search window to be dependent on inaccuracy measures of relations between a cellular frame time and a satellite reference time. This inaccuracy is calculated in a positioning node of the cellular communications system, preferably by filtering of measurements received from user equipments. Linear trend Kalman filtering followed by post processing of estimation errors may be utilized. In order to ensure non-ambiguous interpretation of the received time stamps of received satellite signals provided by user equipments, a pseudo propagation delay is computed in both the user equipment and the positioning node based on GPS acquisition assistance data. The GPS time stamp is then defined referring to the determined pseudo propagation delay. In one embodiment, the pseudo propagation delay is assured to be situated within a pre-determined time interval.

The buffer stores and performs incremental combining of received data relating to data from the base station. The buffer is capable of being flushed.
