  • Publication number: 20160038889
Abstract: An apparatus and method for creating and dispensing a solution formed of a solid product which is eroded or dissolved in a liquid, which may include methods for creating turbulent flow of the liquid. The apparatus includes an inlet portion for introducing the liquid into the dispenser system, a solution forming assembly, and an outlet portion for dispensing the solution. The solution forming assembly may include a support structure configured to support the solid product, and a reservoir coupled to the-support structure, the reservoir configured to hold the liquid and allow flow of the liquid into and out of the reservoir, the reservoir including a base and one or more sidewall portions. The reservoir further including one or more liquid inlets located in the one or more sidewall portions configured to introduce liquid into the reservoir to contact the solid product and create the solution.

  • Publication number: 20140339259
Abstract: A dispenser dispenses a consumable product from a container. The container is supported within a housing by a container holder. The container holder is vertically movable within a movement range in the housing. A biasing structure biases the container holder upwardly. A sign is connected to move up and down with the container holder. An indicator associated with the sign is vertically fixed relative to the housing. When an amount of product remaining in the container reaches a low level, the biasing force of the biasing structure will lift the container holder, causing the indicator to be aligned with a portion of the sign that gives a visual cue to a user that the amount of product remaining is at a low level.

  • Publication number: 20140233346
Abstract: A method and apparatus for obtaining a product chemistry from a product and a fluid is provided. A product is housed within a dispenser. A fluid is introduced through a manifold diffuse member having a plurality of ports. A cover is positioned adjacent the manifold diffuse member and includes a plurality of ports. The cover is able to be adjusted, for example, by rotating the cover, to align and un-align the manifold diffuse ports and the cover ports. This adjustment controls the flow characteristics of the fluid through the manifold diffuse member and cover to control the characteristics of the fluid in contact with the product. The adjustment of the cover to control the flow will provide a generally consistent concentration and erosion rate based upon known relationships between a characteristic of the fluid and the flow of the fluid in relation to the product.

  • Publication number: 20140158716
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for dispensing an off-gassing liquid product mixed with a diluting product are provided. A liquid product or product solution is moved through an unprimed product line and towards a dispenser. The liquid product is combined with the diluting product to create a solution. The solution is dispensed. The product line is cleared of unused liquid product to unprime the product line after the dispensement of the solution. The unused product may be directed back into a product container from which it was held.

  • Publication number: 20140158708
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for dispensing an off-gassing liquid product mixed with a diluting product are provided. A liquid product or product solution is moved through a primed product line and towards a dispenser. The liquid product is combined with the diluting product to create a solution. The solution is dispensed. Prevention of displacement of the product line is accomplished by redirecting at least a portion of the unused liquid product in the product line to a displacement system operatively attached to the product line and including a secondary container. The stored product may be used with the next dispensement of solution, or emptied in a sanitary manner.

  • Publication number: 20140000718
Abstract: A temperature sensitive feedback mechanism may be mounted or positioned on a heat conducting diluent conduit. The temperature sensitive feedback mechanism provides visually readable feedback regarding the temperature of the diluent to help ensure that the temperature of the diluent delivered to a chemical product dispenser satisfies a target temperature or falls within a target temperature range. The temperature sensitive feedback mechanism may include one or more temperature sensitive elements that change color in response to a change in surface temperature of diluent conduit. A user may view the visually readable temperature feedback and manually adjust the temperature of the diluent if necessary until the desired diluent temperature is reached.
