  • Publication number: 20170265454
Abstract: A portable treestand for hunters includes a one piece supporting platform, seat and post molded from a light weight thermoplastic material. The unitary construction of the platform and seat eliminates a large number of fabrication steps and related fastening techniques and devices used therewith. As a result, the platform and seat are stronger, lighter and more rigid, free from many potentially movable joints, and may be made with an irregular pattern.

  • Publication number: 20170175145
Abstract: Plasmid vectors and use of plasmid vectors in methods for producing methane and isoprene using Archaea are disclosed. Particularly, plasmid vectors that express isoprene synthase (ispS) are prepared and inserted into methanogens, such as Methanosarcina acetivorans, to allow for co-production of methane and isoprene. In one embodiment, the methods of the present disclosure can be used for wastewater management.

  • Patent number: 9058469
Abstract: An approach is provided for detecting and monitoring end user license agreement (EULA) compliance is provided. A request to access a executable software code is received from an end user. A EULA version corresponding to the requested executable software code is identified. A determination is made as to whether the end user has accepted the identified EULA. If the end user has not accepted the identified EULA, then an out of date EULA notification is sent to the end user, the EULA is sent to the end user requesting an acceptance to the EULA. A EULA response is received from the end user. If the end user accepts the EULA, then the end user is allowed access to the executable software code.

  • Publication number: 20140228178
Abstract: Described here are devices and methods for strengthening the thenar muscles of the hand. Generally, a device comprises a base shaped to be held in the hand, a thumb rest having a hinge attached to the base such that one end of the thumb rest can be pivoted relative to the base, and an elastic member attached to the base and the thumb rest, which resists the pivoting motion of the thumb rest relative to the base. The user can place the device in his or her hand, and place his or her thumb on the thumb rest. When the user presses the thumb rest toward the base with his or her thumb, the elastic member supplies a force resisting the pressing motion, which exercises the thenar muscles.

  • Publication number: 20090102150
Abstract: The objective of the invention is to allow a hunter to balance out the weight of his decoys' and all other hunting gear that is necessary without carrying anything on his/her person.
