  • Publication number: 20070255471
Abstract: A torque estimator is disclosed for estimating torque on a machine. A computer system may include a torque estimator module located on the machine. The torque estimator module may be configured to receive a plurality of engine parameters, receive a drivetrain component parameter, determine an estimated torque value at the drivetrain component based on the plurality of engine parameters and the drivetrain component parameter. The computer system also may include an analysis module located on the machine. The analysis module may be configured to receive the estimated torque value and the drivetrain component parameter, and update a histogram data structure based on the estimated torque value and the drivetrain component parameter. The analysis module may also be configured to evaluate the histogram data structure in order to determine if excessive torque is being applied to a drivetrain component.

  • Publication number: 20070238572
Abstract: A differential assembly for a work machine includes a ring gear, first and second differential side gears and a plurality of pinions configured to mesh with the first and second side gears, and mounted on at least one pinion support pin. An inner differential housing is rotatably supported by an outer differential housing, and includes a torque transmitting hub configured to couple the ring gear with the first and second side gears via at least two pinions. The hub including a plurality of radial spokes and an outer rim portion having pinion support pin bores therein.

  • Publication number: 20050059746
Abstract: In at least one embodiment, the present invention relates to a method and system for providing blends of virgin polyethylene terephthalate (VPET) and a VPET property modifying component (PCM). In one embodiment, separate sources of solid VPET and solid PMC are provided. A conduit is provided between the sources and a bulk-container, which is suitable for delivery to an end user. VPET from the source of VPET and PMC from the PMC source are selectively dispensed into the conduit in a desired amount to form a uniform blend of materials comprising a predetermined ratio of VPET relative to PMC. The blend of materials is transported to the bulk-container for delivery to an end user.

  • Publication number: 20020105529
Abstract: A method is disclosed to capture and manipulate digital video images, and to display one or more of the images on a client system as a video stream, without the need for the client to use plug-in or other media player software. In an exemplary embodiment, the method includes capturing digital video images of a rotating object, relaying the digital data to a computer programmed to allow direct access to audio and video streams from the digital camera, without the need for intermediary programs. Subsequently, the digital video data is parsed to select images which are edited, processed and configured to be distributed for viewing as a video sequence within a browser window, without the need for a media player.

  • Patent number: 6253611
Abstract: Liquid level indicators include an upright cylindrical tube of non-magnetic material, a cylindrical, permanent first magnet element aligned with and movable coaxially within the tube, a float, and an annular, permanent second magnet element aligned with and movable coaxially outside the tube. The first and second magnet elements have magnetic fields in alignment with one another, with one of the first and second magnet elements being carried by the float. The first and second magnet elements are axially spaced relative to one another such that the one magnet element which is carried by the float supports by magnetic attraction the other magnet element which is not carried by the float.
