  • Publication number: 20250061048
Abstract: Text screen description data for a terminal-based application is received. For example, the text screen description data may be received via an Application Programming Interface (API) call. The text screen description data comprises a screen description and one or more text field descriptions associated with the screen description. The one or more text field descriptions are associated with one or more text fields. The text screen description data is based on Basic Mapping Support (BMS) mappings. Image data of a screen for the terminal-based application is captured. The captured image data of the screen of the terminal-based application is correlated to the text screen description data for the terminal-based application to identify the one or text fields. As a result, a test script is automatically generated to test the one or more text fields based on the correlation.

  • Publication number: 20250052462
Abstract: An adiabatic system and method for reducing water and energy use is provided. The system comprises an adiabatic heat rejection system including a temperature sensor configured to measure the ambient wet-bulb temperature of the adiabatic system based on a measured temperature of water exiting a wetted media pad. A method for adjusting the operational parameters of the system to minimize water and energy use is provided. The method comprises the steps of determining an approximate ambient wet-bulb temperature of the adiabatic heat rejection system based on a measured temperature of water leaving the adiabatic pad, determining if a measured temperature of a process fluid stream is above a process fluid temperature setpoint, determining if the adiabatic heat rejection system is in a water conservation mode of operation or an energy savings mode of operation, and adjusting one or more operational parameters based on the mode of operation.

  • Publication number: 20240416960
Abstract: It may be desirable for a remote advisor to request an autonomous vehicle to relocate to a target relocation pose using a freespace planner that has fewer constraints than the structured planner that is used for normal driving. The autonomous vehicle planning stack can include a remote vehicle interface, which can serve as the application programming interface for remote requestors to request relocation of the autonomous vehicle. The remote vehicle interface may implement a relocation state machine to carry out different parts of a relocation session. A scenario manager may subscribe to the state of the relocation state machine. Based on the state, the scenario manager can request the freespace planner to generate an output plan for the target relocation pose and can orchestrate handoff between different motion planners to relocate the autonomous vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11685092
Abstract: Techniques are described for injection molding. When material inside a cavity of a tool is solidified into a molded part, the tool imparts a finished surface onto the part, including sidewalls with a zero or low-draft angle. To allow separation from the cavity without using sleeves or sliders, the cavity is widened, just prior to the part being ejected. The tool is made from metal with a high coefficient of thermal expansion, so the size of the cavity can be manipulated using temperature control. Heat applied to an outer portion of the metal surrounding the cavity pulls the metal away from the part creating an air gap within the cavity. Carefully applied cooling to an inner portion of the metal blocks the heat and keeps the surface temperature under control, which preserves the finished surface on the part. When the air gap allows, the part releases from the cavity with the finished surface intact.
