  • Publication number: 20180313972
Abstract: The present invention provides a transmitter for an electromagnetic survey system for transmitting signals having a waveform comprising at least a first pulse and a second pulse, wherein the first and second pulses are different in at least one of shape and power. Embodiments of the invention enable combining various distinct pulses that may have been optimized for respective applications to form a transmitter waveform for conducting a geological survey. In effect, the embodiments of the present invention provides an EM system that is substantially equivalent to multiple EM systems operating at the same time for collecting data in relation to different aspects of the geology of interest. Advantageously, the benefits of the present invention can be obtained without the undesirable complexity and cost associated with the simultaneous deployment of multiple EM systems.

  • Publication number: 20180315062
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a system for aggregating, analyzing, and presenting data from multiple applications that are used by the stakeholders on either the seller side or the buyer side (e.g., the VP of Sales, the inside sales representative, etc.). In certain embodiments, systems and methods can facilitate the aggregation of application data from a variety of sources and/or application programs, such as Salesforce, Google, Office 365/Exchange, data enrichment services, WHOIS servers, and/or corporate websites. The system introduces functionality that conventional application data systems (e.g., CRM applications, calendar applications, etc.) do not. In particular, the specific rules facilitate determinations as to whether a sales relationship exists between the first business entity and the second business entity. Further, the specific rules facilitate the identification and removal of duplicative data that is typically found among, for example, the CRM data and the enterprise data.

  • Publication number: 20180315734
Abstract: In making electronic component packages, a method includes forming a sacrificial material over a first temporary substrate, applying a second temporary substrate to the sacrificial material, and then curing the sacrificial material. After curing, the second temporary substrate is removed. The top surface of the sacrificial layer is defined by the second temporary substrate. After removal, a redistribution structure is formed on the top surface. After the formation of the redistribution structure, electronic components are applied to the redistribution structure. The electronic components are encapsulated to form an encapsulated panel. The first temporary substrate and the sacrificial material are removed. • Publication number: 20180316647
Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for implementing a distributed firewall. In an embodiment, many different computer assets police incoming messages based on local policy data. This local policy data is synchronized with global policy data. The global policy data is generated by one or more separate analyzers. Each analyzer has access to message logs, or information derived therefrom, for groups of computer assets, and is thus able to generate policies based on intelligence from an entire group as opposed to an isolated asset. Among other effects, some of the approaches, techniques, and mechanisms may be effective even in computing environments with limited supervision over the attack surface, and/or computing environments in which assets may need to make independent decisions with respect to how incoming messages should be handled, on account of latency and/or unreliability in connections to other system components.

  • Patent number: 10116790
Abstract: According to embodiments of the present invention, a method for communicating data associated with a user of a voice device is disclosed. A server receives a first identifier associated with a first device, the first device comprising one of the voice device and the data device. The server determines a second identifier associated with a second device based on the first identifier, the second device comprising the other one of the voice device and the data device. The server then establishes a connection with the second device using the second identifier and communicates data associated with the user of the voice device between the server and the data device. The communicated data can represent a user identifier (such as a user identifier stored on a smart card, the user's iris scan, the user's fingerprint scan and the like).
