Abstract: An instrumented baseball or softball bat knob comprising a knob housing including a generally cylindrical member inserted into a handle end of the bat and a knob portion attached to the cylindrical member. The knob portion has a diameter that is larger than a diameter of the handle end of the bat. An electronics package is mounted within the knob housing and includes one or more sensors, a microcontroller (processor), memory device and a battery to generate and store data relative to conditions of a batter's swing. The electronics package may also include a wireless transmitter/antenna/transceiver to transmit swing condition data to an external, remote processing unit.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are presented for a novel natural language tokenizer and tagger. In some embodiments, a method for tokenizing text for natural language processing comprises: generating from a pool of documents, a set of statistical models comprising one or more entries each indicating a likelihood of appearance of a character/letter sequence in the pool of documents; receiving a set of rules comprising rules that identify character/letter sequences as valid tokens; transforming one or more entries in the statistical models into new rules that are added to the set of rules when the entries indicate a high likelihood; receiving a document to be processed; dividing the document to be processed into tokens based on the set of statistical models and the set of rules, wherein the statistical models are applied where the rules fail to unambiguously tokenize the document; and outputting the divided tokens for natural language processing.

Abstract: A circuit breaker includes first and second terminals structured to electrically connect to a line and a load, respectively, at least one set of separable contacts movable between a closed position and an open position, a first operating mechanism structured to open one set of separable contacts in response to a detected fault condition on the protected circuit, a second operating mechanism structured to open or close one set of separable contacts in response to an external control signal, a remote operation circuit structured to receive the external control signal and to control the second operating mechanism to open or close based on said external control signal, the remote operation circuit including a power supply structured to convert power from the line and to provide the converted power to the second operating mechanism.

Abstract: A mass spectrometer is disclosed comprising a time of flight mass analyser. The time of flight mass analyser comprises an ion guide comprising a plurality of electrodes which are interconnected by a series of resistors forming a potential divider. Ions are confined radially within the ion guide by the application of a two-phase RF voltage to the electrodes. A single phase additional RF voltage is applied across the potential divider so that an inhomogeneous pseudo-potential force is maintained along the length of the ion guide.

Abstract: A dosing system for dosing diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) into an inlet of a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) aftertreatment module of a diesel engine is described. The dosing system may comprise a DEF supply line configured to deliver the DEF from a pump to a first injector and a second injector at the inlet. The DEF supply line may include a tri-axis connector configured to split the DEF from the pump into two portions each exiting one of a first outlet port and a second outlet port, a first delivery conduit configured to deliver the DEF exiting the first outlet port to the first injector, and a second delivery conduit configured to deliver the DEF exiting the second outlet port to the second injector. The first injector and the second injector may dose the same quantity of the DEF into the inlet of the aftertreatment module.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems are presented for generating natural language models using a novel system architecture for feature extraction. A method for extracting features for natural language processing comprises: accessing one or more tokens generated from a document to be processed; receiving one or more feature types defined by user; receiving selection of one or more feature types from a plurality of system-defined and user-defined feature types, wherein each feature type comprises one or more rules for generating features; receiving one or more parameters for the selected feature types, wherein the one or more rules for generating features are defined at least in part by the parameters; generating features associated with the document to be processed based on the selected feature types and the received parameters; and outputting the generated features in a format common among all feature types.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for redeeming a closed loop card/code funded with an amount of money. The system receives from a merchant point of sale an indication of use of a closed loop card/code not issued by the merchant and presented by a consumer, queries and receives a confirmation of an amount of money in an account associated with the closed loop card/code, presents the consumer with an offer to buy the closed loop card/code at a discount price, and upon accepting the offer, closes out the closed loop card/code and pays the discount price to the consumer. Paying the discount price can include applying the discount price to a purchase by the consumer at the merchant. The merchant can provide cash back to the consumer for excess value of the discount price over the consumer's purchase. Merchants can apply more than the discount price.

The method comprises when no subscriber identifier is found and a source internet protocol (IP) address of the original service request is within a predefined IP address block, composing, by the server, a new URL with the original URL nested inside the new URL, wherein the additional part of the new URL from the original URL redirects the mobile communication device to an identifier network element, responding to the original service request, by the server, to a client application on the mobile communication device with the new URL, and referencing, by the identifier network element, a system of record (SoR) for a subscription profile based on a source IP address of a second service request in response to receiving the second service request from the mobile communication device.

Abstract: Focus of a laser optical system can be corrected using a variable radius mirror having a focusing cavity and a separate cooling cavity. Pressure of a focusing material at a sufficiently low mass flow in the focusing cavity deforms a reflective surface mounted to the focusing cavity, changing its radius. Cooling material provided to the cooling cavity cools the variable radius mirror. A laser beam is reflected by the deformed reflecting surface to focusing optics, focusing the reflected laser beam on an EUV-emitting target, and minimizing a laser focus error by one or more of: maximizing a measured EUV power or minimizing a measured laser beam divergence. Providing focusing material at a deformation pressure and at a sufficiently low mass flow, and providing a separate cooling cavity, avoids perturbations in the reflective surface which would otherwise affect laser beam focus.

In one embodiment, the membrane may have a pump chamber portion with an unstressed shape that generally conforms to the depression of the at least one pump chamber in the body and is arranged to be movable for movement of the fluid in a useable space of the at least one pump chamber.

Abstract: A system for managing cryptographic keys and trust relationships in a secure shell (SSH) environment by mapping network servers, clients, and appliances and locating SSH keys and key pairs associated with each device. The system provides for mapping the network topology and all SSH keys and key pairs stored on network connected devices, and the creation of a master database of all devices, keys and key pairs, key types and encryption strength, and user accounts with which each key or key pair is associated. The mapping and database enable the effective management of SSH keys and key pairs, detection of errors and weakness, elimination of orphaned or outdated keys, correction of all deficiencies, and replacement of keys in accordance with policies set by the organization maintaining the network.

Abstract: A size adjustment arrangement for a garment comprises a base member, a ratchet member, a line, a spool, and an actuator. The base member is coupled to the garment and the ratchet member and spool are rotatably coupled to the base member. The line is wound on the spool with the line extending through at least one channel in the garment. The actuator is selectively rotatable in a first direction and a second direction without activation of any release mechanism. When a first force is applied to rotate the actuator in the first direction, the line is wound upon the spool. When a second force is applied to rotate the actuator in the second direction, the line is unwound upon the spool. The ratchet member and the spool are blocked from rotation when neither the first force nor the second force is applied to the actuator.

Abstract: A transfer trailer for loading bales of forage into a transport vehicle includes a press wall mounted on a horizontal deck to be movable between a loading position and a transfer end of the trailer, and the transfer trailer has a sizing structure disposed at the transfer end formed of a hinged door arrangement such that motive means moving the press wall along the deck of the transfer trailer causes the hinged door arrangement to engage a stack of bales loaded onto the deck of the transfer trailer to force the stack of bales into standardized dimensions prior to delivery to a transport vehicle.
