  • Publication number: 20070200363
Abstract: A sash lock assembly is suitable for use with a sash window assembly including an upper sash window and a lower sash window slidable within a master frame, the upper sash window having a keeper connected thereto. The sash lock assembly includes a housing adapted to be mounted on the lower sash window, a cam positioned within the housing, an actuator handle, and an anti-rotation device. The housing has an opening therein. The actuator handle extends through the opening in the housing and is connected to the cam such that the actuator handle and the cam rotate together between a locked position, wherein the cam is adapted to engage the keeper, and an unlocked position, wherein the cam is adapted to disengage from the keeper. The anti-rotation device includes a protrusion positioned on the housing. When the sash lock assembly is in the locked position, the protrusion engages an engaging surface on the actuator handle to prevent rotation of the actuator handle.

  • Publication number: 20070201022
Abstract: The disclosure relates generally to methods and apparatus for using a fiber array spectral translator-based (“FAST”) spectroscopic system for performing spectral unmixing of a mixture containing multiple polymorphs. In an embodiment, a first spectrum of a mixture containing polymorphs of a compound is obtained using a photon detector and a fiber array spectral translator having plural fibers. A set of second spectra is provided where each spectrum of the set of second spectra may be representative of a different polymorph of the compound. The first spectrum and the set of second spectra may be compared, and based on the comparison, the presence of one or more polymorphs in the mixture may be determined.

  • Patent number: 7261219
Abstract: The present invention consists of an inexpensive tight sealing plastic container suited for microwave cooking, top-shelf dishwashing and freezer use. In accordance with a preferred embodiment, the container is provided with two compartments, one large and one small. The container utilizes a dual cut-back closure device of which the retaining bead of the container bottom maintains the container top in a secure position. The inside dimensions of the container top are slightly larger than the container bottom in both compartments. The difference in sizes provides an interference fit and forms a substantially leak proof seal along the inside perimeter of both compartments of the container. The container top provides at least one gripping tab, which facilitates the separation of the container top from the container bottom and permit container venting.

  • Patent number: 7263453
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for detecting a sensor angle error in a system in which a measured quantity is determined on the basis of a phase of a signal. A signal derived from the measurement of multiple sensors is ascribed to a vector in a two-dimensional space, and a norm is calculated characterizing that vector. • Patent number: 7262773
Abstract: A drag-and-drop user interface (DDUI) can generate multiple charts in an integrated chart report and supports the drag-and-drop method of adding fields to the integrated chart report. When a field is dropped from a field list into a multiple chart drop zone, the DDUI will automatically generate additional charts to represent the data in the dropped field. An additional chart will be generated for each unique entry in a data field. The number of charts can be modified by selecting particular elements in the dropped field, by means of a drop-down menu. The drop-down menu enables the elimination or addition of elements of the dropped field. Each additional field dropped into the multiple chart drop zone will add a chart to the chart report. Conversely, each field dragged out of the multiple chart drop zone will eliminate a chart from the chart report. The DDUI can accommodate various chart types.
