  • Publication number: 20250058044
Abstract: A transcutaneous fluid transfer device, a first method of providing a transcutaneous fluid transfer device, and a second method of administering an injection are disclosed. The transcutaneous fluid transfer device includes a first housing, a delivery needle, a second housing, and a plug. The second housing is translatable between a protected position and an injected position and biased toward the protected position. The delivery needle penetrates the plug as the second housing translates toward the injected position. The first method includes providing a first housing and providing a second housing. The second method includes contacting the device to an injection site, translating a second housing, penetrating a plug of the transfer device, advancing a delivery needle, translating the second housing, and sealing the delivery needle. Advantageously, the transcutaneous fluid transfer device may prevent the leakage and/or vaporization of fluids and/or gases from exposed needle tips.

  • Publication number: 20250050090
Abstract: A connector includes an outer housing defining a lumen, a first male coupler mateable with a needle-free valve and positioned at a first end of the outer housing, a second male coupler positioned at a second end of the outer housing, a valve system to control fluid flow through the lumen, and an actuator movable within the outer housing between a first position and a second position. A pinch clamp of the connector operates to selectively deflect locking fingers of the actuator from a locked position to a movement position to selectively enable or prevent movement of the actuator from the first position to the second position. The actuator, based on its positioning in the first or second position, causes the valve system to be in a closed state or an open state and blocks or allows the first coupler to couple with the needle-free valve.

  • Publication number: 20250048061
Abstract: In some implementations, a device may retrieve, from a user database, information identifying a plurality of users that are to be subjected to an adverse action. The device may retrieve, from an event stream, event data relating to an incident that has affected an affected area, where the event data indicates at least a location of the affected area. The device may identify, based on the information identifying the plurality of users, one or more users of the plurality of users that reside in the location of the affected area. The device may cause transmission of communications relating to the adverse action for each of the plurality of users, except for the one or more users that reside in the location of the affected area.

  • Publication number: 20250032769
Abstract: Fluid connector assemblies that seal off fluid paths in the respective connectors are disclosed. When connectors of a fluid connector assembly are connected to each other, respective compressible members in the connectors are displaced, allowing downstream fluid passage through the fluid connector assembly. The connectors maintain a connection by a snap mechanism that provides a threshold retention force. When an external force greater than the threshold force is applied to the fluid connector assembly, the snap mechanism may no longer maintain the connectors together, causing the connectors to decouple from each other. Once the connectors are decoupled, a connecting mechanism may be activated preventing the connectors to be coupled together without actuation of the connecting mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20250022145
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a universal tracking module (UTM) capable of tracking six degrees of freedom of objects. In artificial reality environments, six degrees of freedom tracking refers to the ability to track an object moving and rotating freely in three-dimensional space along three axes of movement and rotation. Six degrees of freedom tracking provides high precision in tracking movement and rotation in 3D space, enabling more accurate and realistic representations of objects and interactions in virtual and augmented reality environments, thereby allowing for more realistic and immersive experiences. In examples, the UTM includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes such that an image of the UTM can be utilized to determine the position and orientation of the UTM and the object to which the UTM is attached.
