Abstract: Compliance determination for conveyance of benefits includes searching for, and downloading, digital compliance material describing relevant compliance policies for conveyance of benefits to a benefit recipient, applying artificial intelligence model(s) to the downloaded digital compliance material, and determining at least one compliance policy for conveyance of benefit(s) to the benefit recipient, based on receiving a prompt from a sender desiring to convey a benefit, responding by indicating, for each identified benefit of at least one identified benefit, whether conveyance of the identified benefit complies with the relevant compliance policies for conveyance of benefits to the benefit recipient.

Abstract: Some embodiments of a smokeless tobacco system include one or more preformed smokeless tobacco products configured to generally retain their shape during processing, shipping, and consumer handling. In particular embodiments, each smokeless tobacco product can comprise a moist smokeless tobacco in combination with a selected binder such that the final product is configured to have material properties providing improved handling, an improved mouth feel, and a satisfying flavor profile.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods to determine a direction to a ground fault of an electrical generator or motor using a known steady-state standing error referenced to a positive-sequence voltage measurement to determine a system standing error and utilizing the system standing error to determine an operating current with anomalies attributable to a fault. A ground fault may be determined using zero-sequence voltage signals from the generator or motor installation. The operating current, along with the zero-sequence voltage, may be used to determine a direction to the fault. The generator or motor may be high-impedance grounded. The systems and methods further indicate the direction to a fault where multiple generators or motors are connected to a common bus.

Abstract: A first venous rhythm of a patient is detected above a venous insertion site when a venous catheter connected to an infusion set is inserted into the venous insertion site and, concurrently with the first venous rhythm, a second venous rhythm is detected at a location remote from the venous insertion site. An irregularity between the first and second venous rhythms is identified, and a failure of the venous catheter is determined based on the identified irregularity satisfying a irregularity threshold. An alarm may be provided on detecting the irregularity or the failure of the venous catheter.

The housing includes a cavity, a proximal fluid port in fluid communication with the cavity, and a distal fluid port in fluid communication with the cavity. The flexible valve element is disposed within the cavity. The flexible valve element can selectively permit flow between the proximal fluid port and the distal fluid port.

Abstract: A melt-blown fabric for pouching smokeless tobacco or a smokeless tobacco substitute can include melt-blown polymer fibers. The fabric can have a basis weight of less than 30 gsm and a tensile strength of at least 4mJ in at least one predetermined direction. Method of making the fabric can include melt-blowing a polymeric material against a support surface and bonding the fibers or arranging them in a predetermined orientation. Pouched smokeless tobacco or tobacco substitute products including the fabrics provided herein can provide desirable flavor and tactile experience.
