  • Publication number: 20150146984
Abstract: A system and method of for describing target data as a sequence of pattern elements and pattern element groups that comprise an overall target pattern is described. Pattern elements may utilize regular expression syntax along with other metadata that describe the behavior of the element. A pattern element group may be a collection of fully defined pattern elements where at least one pattern element from the group must have a match for the overall pattern to match. Patterns contain both pattern elements and pattern element groups. The general process involves first performing optical character recognition (OCR) on the document, which in turn produces a sequence of text tokens representing the lines of text on each page of the document. The search algorithm may then apply each defined pattern to the entire document capturing and/or extracting data that match each pattern's required elements and element groups.

  • Patent number: 8985417
Abstract: A hanged garment device can semi-permanently attach to the back of a bicycle to securely stow hanged garments in a removable, aerodynamic pod. Because the hanged garment device is shaped to reduce wind resistance and can rotate to accommodate change in wind direction, the hanged garment device does not hinder bike stability during travel. The hanged garment device does not disrupt bicyclist stability during shifts in the wind while allowing hanged garments to be stowed securely on the bicycle, typically behind the bicyclist during travel.

  • Patent number: 8955370
Abstract: A method of detecting leaks and measuring volumes as well as a device, the Power-free Pump Module (PPM), provides a self-contained leak test and volume measurement apparatus that requires no external sources of electrical power during leak testing or volume measurement. The PPM is a portable, pneumatically-controlled instrument capable of generating a vacuum, calibrating volumes, and performing quantitative leak tests on a closed test system or device, all without the use of alternating current (AC) power. Capabilities include the ability is to provide a modest vacuum (less than 10 Torr) using a venturi pump, perform a pressure rise leak test, measure the gas's absolute pressure, and perform volume measurements. All operations are performed through a simple rotary control valve which controls pneumatically-operated manifold valves.

  • Publication number: 20140377251
Abstract: Antibody formulations are described comprising a mixture of a non-reducing sugar, an anti-?4?7 antibody and at least one amino acid. The disclosed formulations have improved stability, reduced aggregate formation, and may retard degradation of the anti-?4?7 antibody therein or exhibit any combinations thereof. The present invention further provides a safe dosing regimen of these antibody formulations that is easy to follow, and which results in a therapeutically effective amount of the anti-?4?7 anti body in vivo.

  • Patent number: 8913726
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a computer program, method, and system for presenting user-selectable content on another user's computing device. Embodiments of the present invention permit a first user to create relationships and networks between other users. Once relationships have been created, the first user can select multimedia content to be presented to a second user or group of users. The content is presented to the second user upon the first user initiating a telephone call to the second user and during a pre-answer stage comprising ringing of the second user's computing device; upon the second user answering the call, the presentation of the content is terminated. In addition, if the second user has selected content to be presented to the first user, such content will also be displayed at the time the first user makes the call to the second user.

  • Publication number: 20140341885
Abstract: Antibody formulations are described comprising a mixture of an anti-?4?7 antibody, an antioxidant or chelator, and at least one free amino acid. The disclosed formulations may have improved stability, reduced aggregate formation, or both. The present invention further provides a safe dosing regimen of these antibody formulations that is easy to follow, and which results in a therapeutically effective amount of the anti-?4?7 antibody in vivo.

  • Publication number: 20140333357
Abstract: Circuits, apparatuses, and methods are disclosed for delay models. In one such example circuit, a first delay model circuit is configured to provide a first output signal by modeling a delay of a signal through a path. A second delay model circuit is configured to provide a second output signal by modeling the delay of the signal through the path. A compare circuit is coupled to the first and second delay model circuits. The compare circuit is configured to compare a third signal from the first delay model circuit and a fourth signal from the second delay model circuit, and, in response provide an adjustment signal to adjust the delay of the second delay model circuit.

  • Publication number: 20140263428
Abstract: A dispensing system is provided including a dispensing device that dispenses a material stored within the dispensing system during a dispense event. A dimensionally adjustable element is coupled to the dispensing device. The dimensionally adjustable element can actuate the dispensing device to facilitate the dispense event based upon a dimensional adjustment of the dimensionally adjustable element. A sensor is coupled to the dimensionally adjustable element and can detect a presence of a user in proximity to the dispensing system. The sensor can activate the dimensional adjustment of the dimensionally adjustable element in response to detecting the presence of the user in proximity to the dispensing system. In this manner material can be dispensed from the dispensing system when the user is in proximity to the same.

  • Publication number: 20140189095
Abstract: A computer-implemented system, apparatus and method for accessing a portable device to execute monitoring capabilities. The monitoring capabilities include packet detection, which in turn may be processed to produce media exposure data. The monitoring capabilities are installed using privileged access in order to obtain data from a kernel layer of the portable device, and the device is returned to an original state following installation, in order to comply with operating system requirements. Audio media exposure data may further be integrated with the packet-detected media exposure data.

  • Publication number: 20140187268
Abstract: A computer-implemented system, apparatus and method for monitoring media exposure data and correlating media exposure data to locations. Location data may be generated utilizing measurements of radio waves from WiFi and/or Bluetooth. Identification may also be transmitted when WiFi and/or Bluetooth transmission are received. As media is reproduced or received on/near a portable device, media exposure data is generated. Subsequent location data is monitored and processed to determine specific locations that may include commercial establishments. The locations are then correlated to the media exposure data to determine user actions related to media exposure.

  • Patent number: 8760961
Abstract: Circuits, memories, and methods for latching a write command and later provided write data including write command and write data timing circuits. One such timing circuit includes internal write command latch to latch an internal write command in response to write command latch signal. The internal write command latch releases the latched write command in response to the write command latch signal after a latency delay. The timing circuit further includes a write leveling flip-flop (FF) circuit and a write data register. One such method includes generating and latching an internal write command. The latched internal write command is released after a latency delay responsive to the memory clock signal. The internal write command is propagated over an internal write command path. Write data is captured and internal write command latched in response to a write clock signal. The captured write data is released to be written to memory.

  • Patent number: 8639290
Abstract: Devices and methods are disclosed by which a smart card or UICC that is removably insertable into a wireless terminal will only allow operation in either a specific terminal or a specific set of terminals. A mechanism to restrict the set of terminals that a UICC will operate with based upon logic embedded in a memory within the UICC. The UICC receives specific information from the wireless terminal when the terminal is turned on. If the information received satisfies a plurality of rules or conditions stored within the UICC, the UICC functions normally and the terminal may be registered with the network. If the UICC is inserted in an unsupported terminal, the UICC will refuse to function normally. This provides a deterrent against UICC theft.
