Abstract: An apparatus and a method for updating data in an embedded system are provided. The apparatus includes a processor for retrieving new data and a transmission line. The transmission line connects to the processor to receive the new data and transmits the new data to the embedded system. The data of a data area has a end address for the data and a plurality of application programs arranged in order, and the new data includes an application program update.

Abstract: An improved structure for an endpiece of tape rule, said endpiece comprises a measuring tape connecting portion and a hook hanging portion formed by same metal, the tape connecting portion is connected to the surface of measuring tape by rivet(s) penetrates through the holes formed on both of the measuring tape and the measuring tape connecting portion, and at least one magnetic object is attached to at least one concaved groove formed on the surface of the front end of said hook hanging portion.

Abstract: A dual card type connector includes an insulating body having a first surface on a side thereof. First pins are mounted to the first surface. The insulating body further includes a second surface on the side thereof. Second pins are mounted to the second surface. A cover is mounted to the insulating body. The cover and the first surface of the insulating body together define a first insertion space for releasable engagement with a first electronic card. The cover and the second surface of the insulating body together define a second insertion space for releasable engagement with a second electronic card having a size different from that of the first electronic card. Thus, the dual card type connector can be used with a long, wide card or a short, narrow card without increasing the size of the connector.

Abstract: A rotational tape retracting and releasing structure for tape measure is provided which has less rotational wearing and trouble, increased reliability of cooperative rotation, and an easier assembling and disassembling structure. The subject structure for tape measure is characterized in that: a set of planetary gears can be firmly kept inside a gear box and then presented from departing out of the housing, and a sub-rotary disc axis member and a take-up drive can be rotated together.

Abstract: Disclosed is a vehicle wheel measuring apparatus, comprising a push rod, a counter, a wheel, and a gear coupled mechanism, wherein the counter is disposed on top of the push rod. Through the gear coupled mechanism, the axle center of said counter and the wheel axle form a joint relationship having the same rotational cycles. A front yoke is attached to the wheel axle in the end of said push rod, and a set of magnetic element is disposed between the wheel axle and the interior side of the front yoke. This prevents the wheel from rotating by itself that affects actual measured distance.

Abstract: Disclosed is a measuring tape for tape rule consisting of a metallic main body formed into concave upwards shape with a hook provided to its free end, and is labeled with successive graduations and numerals as scales on its upper surface. A transparent protective layer is respectively provided on its upper and lower surface by coating. The front section of the tape near its free end is further protected by enhancing protective layers in proper length by coating on both surfaces of the tape.

Abstract: A level laser indicator comprising a housing, a laser-indicating means and a bubble leveler; wherein one position of the housing is equipped with a laser-indicating means that can rotate freely, which makes the emitting laser light closing to the housing and the measuring surface as the visible light by a refractive lens installed in the front of it; the other position of the housing is equipped with a bubble leveler, which provides a set of holding arms. In addition, there are two nails passes through a base and a magnet is installed on it, so that the whole is conveniently fixed to the wall or the metal surface on a datum plane of measure. Furthermore, two sides of the housing are installed with several vertical grooves/marks, and the angle scale is drawn around said laser-indicating means to conveniently provide with precise measurement of plane.

The present invention detects and stores the functions of each electronic apparatus in advance. When one of the electronic apparatuses transmits a signal to execute a particular function, the present invention determines which electronic apparatus is the most suitable to execute the function and sends the signal to the very electronic apparatus without manual operations.

Abstract: An ice cube tray includes a base and a plurality of containers. Both are connected together in an injection method. The base is made of inflexible material with hollow cavities while the containers are made of flexible material. Each container is corresponding in shape to each cavity of the base. The containers can be made to various colors. The inflexible base is easy to handle while the flexible containers facilitate dislodging of ice cubes from the base.

Abstract: A backup system backs up information of mobile devices via wireless communication. The backup system includes a first mobile terminal, a backup server, and a transmission module. The first mobile terminal includes a first storage module for storing first information and a detection module. The backup server includes a server storage module for storing server information and a server detection module. The transmission module provides data transmission between the first mobile terminal and the backup server. Through the transmission module, a copy of first information is uploaded to the backup server as the server information, or a copy of server information is downloaded to the first mobile terminal as the first information.

By a large contact surface between the press piece and the supporting leg, the board support is positioned stably; and by the resisting effect between a resisting block and the sleeve, the board support will not fall downwards. The press can be replaced by a receiving groove formed between the two pivotal ears and a cambered pressing block installed in the receiving groove.
