Abstract: A seeding boot, for a seeding apparatus mountable on a tyne, or adjacent a soil-opening disc, of a tillage implement, has a hollow boot body mountable adjacent the lower end of the tyne or lower portion of the soil-opening disc. A seed distributor in the boot body has a seed inlet connectable to a source of seeds; at least one seed outlet spaced laterally from the tyne or soil-opening disc; and at least one fertiliser or chemical distributor located rearwardly of the tyne or the soil-opening disc. The seed outlet(s) are provided at, or adjacent, the distal ends of laterally-extending hollow wings, which extend from the seed distributor.

Abstract: A channelling assembly for guiding cable on a cable management tray is formed by a ducted member having an inlet end and an outlet end so as to form open channels into which cable can be laid through the open top of each channel. A retaining member is associated with each channel. Each retaining member is engaged with the tops of a neighboring pair of partitions so as to close the top of the channel formed between the partitions. A resiliently deformable region is formed on each retaining member, which extends down into the channel upon engaging the retraining member with the partitions so as to compress cables located in the channel between the resiliently deformable member and the bottom of the channel, and thus securely retain the cables in place.

The method includes obtaining a text stream from the document; obtaining a current fill limit associated with an initial column of the multiple columns; placing, using a layout engine, the text stream within the multiple columns according to the current fill limit; identifying, after placing the text stream, a first fill level of a final column of the multiple columns; calculating a first difference between the current fill limit and the first fill level of the final column; calculating, in response to the first difference exceeding a tolerance, a revised fill limit based on the current fill limit; placing, using the layout engine, the text stream within the multiple columns according to the revised fill limit.

The telescoping mast has a support section fixed to the base and a movable section movably connected and displaceable relative to the support section between a retracted position and an extended position. A gas strut acts between the support section and the movable section and biases the movable section toward the extended position. Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure involves a rotary compressor that is primarily optimized for use without the need for liquid lubricants, such as in the flow path of the fluid being compressed, and is efficient and quiet to use. The compressors described herein are efficient, run quietly, use less power, and last longer than those previously known in the art. The compressors are useful for medical applications and other clean gas applications, for instance, where lubricants could contaminate the fluid being compressed and/or increased noise and/or vibration may be problematic.

Abstract: Rotary systems are described, which can include at least one of compressors and vacuum pumps. Each rotary system includes a corresponding piston that rotates in an orbital motion around a respective eccentric of a shaft in order to either compress fluid or function as a vacuum pump. Multiple rotary systems can be executed on parallel on a single shaft such that these rotary systems are powered by a single motor. Various components of the rotary systems are coated with an abradable coating, which minimizes friction when these components come in contact with each other. The minimized friction minimizes the wear and tear of these components. Each rotary system can be lubricated by only the fluid being processed (for example, compressed or vacuumed) by that rotary system. The use of the fluid being processed for lubrication and the abradable coatings eliminate a need for another lubricant for lubricating the rotary system.

Abstract: A method is disclosed to update multiple devices disposed in a computing system comprising a plurality of devices. The method receives a request to perform a firmware image update for a plurality of designated target devices, where each of those designated target devices comprises a first firmware image, and where the request comprises a second firmware image. The method uploads the second firmware image to a shared memory device, where each of the designated target devices is in communication with that shared memory device, and broadcasts an update command to each of the plurality of devices. The method determines the device state of each of the designated target devices, and if each of the designated target devices reports either an operational device state or an error device state, then the method reports that the firmware update is complete.
