    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are drawn to apparatuses and methods for scheduling targeted refreshes in a memory device. Memory cells in a memory device may be volatile and may need to be periodically refreshed as part of an auto-refresh operation. In addition, certain rows may experience faster degradation, and may need to undergo targeted refresh operations, where a specific targeted refresh address is provided and refreshed. The rate at which targeted refresh operations need to occur may be based on the rate at which memory cells are accessed. The memory device may monitor accesses to a bank of the memory, and may use a count of the accesses to determine if an auto-refresh address or a targeted refresh address will be refreshed.

    Abstract: An impaction handle for use during a surgical procedure to implant a fixed-bearing tibial tray into a surgically-prepared proximal end of a tibia is disclosed. The impaction handle includes an impact plate defining a proximal end of the impaction handle and an impact head defining a distal end of the impaction handle. The impaction handle also has an elongated shaft extending between the impact plate and the impact head, along with a locking mechanism to lock the handle to the tibial tray. The locking mechanism includes a thumbwheel positioned in the impact head and a locking shaft secured to the thumbwheel.

    Abstract: A method for inspecting a component made of press-hardening steel prior to resistance spot welding of the component includes performing non-destructive testing of the component made of press-hardening steel after hot stamping to determine a plurality of characteristics for the component. The non-destructive testing comprises at least one of image processing, electromagnetic analysis, and elemental analysis of the component. The method includes using a model correlating values of the characteristics to acceptable weld quality or rejected weld quality and predicting acceptable weld quality or rejected weld quality of the component prior to resistance spot welding of the component; resistance spot welding the component if the model predicts acceptable weld quality; and not resistance spot welding the component if the model predicts rejected weld quality.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure are drawn to apparatuses and methods for determining extremum numerical values. Numerical values may be stored in files of a stack, with each bit of the numerical value stored in a content addressable memory (CAM) cell of the file. Each file may be associated with an accumulator circuit, which provides an accumulator signal. An extremum search operation may be performed where a sequence of comparison bits are compared in a bit-by-bit fashion to each bit of the numerical values. The accumulator circuits each provide an accumulator signal which indicates if the numerical value in the associated file is an extremum value or not. Examples of extremum search operations include finding a maximum of the numerical values and a minimum of the numerical values.

The method includes bringing electrodes into contact with the workpieces, passing an electrical current therebetween to form a molten weld pool, and cooling the molten weld pool into a weld nugget that forms all or part of a weld joint between the workpieces and has a composition that is a mixture of the workpieces and the intermediate material.

    Abstract: Methods for resistance welding, resistance-welded assemblies, and vehicles including resistance-welded assemblies are provided. An exemplary resistance welding method includes compressing a workpiece stack-up with an interface material between first and second workpieces to squeeze a portion of the interface material to a reduced thickness. After compressing the workpiece stack-up, the first welding electrode contacts the first workpiece at an operating contact area between the first welding electrode and the first workpiece that is greater than an initial contact area. The method also includes passing an electrical current between the welding electrodes to form a molten weld pool within the workpieces, and ceasing the passing of the electrical current between the welding electrodes to allow the molten weld pool to solidify into a weld nugget that forms all or part of a weld joint between the workpieces.

The memory devices may then perform targeted refresh operations on victim word lines of the aggressor word line.
