Abstract: A wafer container for holding a spaced stack of thin wafers, comprising an H-bar carrier, a base portion for receiving same, a base wafer cushion attached at the bottom wall positioned below the H-bar carrier, the cushion having a plurality of ribs defining slots each with a bottom wafer seating region having a curvature and a pair of ends, each of the ends having a flare whereby the seating region flares outwardly at the ends, a cover portion that connects with the base portion to form a closed interior. The cover portion having an uppermost wall a wafer cushion secured thereto. The cover wafer cushion having a row of wafer engaging finger portions, the finger portions Y shaped and having two legs extending from a support portion and alternatingly extending from opposing support portions, the finger portions may be S shaped with a wafer pad flared in two direction.

Abstract: Subterranean hydrocarbon recovery systems are provided with the systems including a plurality of conduit sections in fluid communication with at least some of which being aligned in parallel along at least one axis of each section. The recovery systems can also include a well head within a subterranean space with at least one of the sections being in fluid communication with the well head. Subterranean hydrocarbons systems are also provided that can include a plurality of conduit sections arranged in rows and columns.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for providing access to, while in a predetermined location, information corresponding to a rules-based activity via a computer network. Access may be gained by users via the Internet or mobile networks, and may include access via a mobile device application. In exemplary embodiments, the geographic location of the user, via his computing device, is confirmed within a predetermined location for accessing and employing the system. Also disclosed are systems and methods for facilitating wagering on contests within one or more rules-based activities. In exemplary embodiments, a projected performance benchmark for a participant in a contest within the rules-based activity is established, and wagers are taken from authorized members on whether an actual performance benchmark for the participant will meet or fall below the projected performance benchmark.

The second I/O device is configured to read the code from a tangible medium, parse the code to determine the machine identifier, transmit a validation request directly to the first I/O device via the network, and receive a response message directly from the first I/O device, wherein the response message indicates a number of credits available to a user at the second I/O device.

Abstract: A front semiconductor opening wafer container for large diameter wafers includes a container portion and a door. The container portion includes a left closed side, a right closed side, a closed back, an open front, and an open interior including a plurality of slots for receiving and containing the wafers. The door is attachable to the container portion to close the open front and selectively latchable to the container portion. The container portion can accommodate large diameter wafers, particularly 450 mm wafers. Optimized sag control is provided as well as enhanced structural rigidity, and wafer seating features.

The method includes providing a substrate comprising a surface region made of a thin-film photovoltaic absorber including copper, indium, gallium, selenium, and sulfur species. Additionally, the method includes applying a dip-in chemical bath deposition process for forming a buffer layer containing at least zinc-ogygen-sulfide material but substantially free of cadmium species. Furthermore, the method includes producing a chemical bath including steps of heating a bath of water to about 75° C., adding aqueous ammonia to mix with the bath of water, adding a solution of sodium hydroxide, adding zinc salt solution, and adding a solution of thiourea. The dip-in chemical bath deposition process includes immersing a plurality of substrates formed with the thin-film photovoltaic absorber substantially vertically in the chemical bath for 30 minutes to form the zinc-oxygen-sulfide buffer layer followed by a cleaning and drying process.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies are described herein for cross-platform application programming interfaces for applications. In accordance with the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, the cross-platform APIs support interoperability and extensibility with various application programs using a single language and/or set of APIs. Extensions authored for a particular application program may be used with other application programs that expose the same or a similar set of APIs, even if other object models or APIs associated with the application programs differ from one another. Thus, the APIs support cross-platform, cross-device, and cross-version compatibility of extensions.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and software disclosed herein facilitate draft reminders. In at least one implementation, a primary view of an information management application is rendered. In various scenarios the primary view may include primary items, such as emails, events, tasks, or other types of items. When a reminder view is invoked, draft items are identified to include in the reminder view. The reminder view is then rendered in an overlaid manner with respect to the primary view and includes the draft items.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a customer with enhanced shopping experience at a retail store provide associating the customer with a unique identification, storing information of the customer in a central database, wherein the information of the customer is retrievable according to the unique identification of the customer, responsive to a request by the customer, linking the customer to the information of the customer stored in the central database based on the unique identification of the customer, and based on an analysis of the information of the customer, providing the stored information of the customer to the customer to allow the customer to conduct a number of tasks including checking status of a transaction with the retail store, selecting a payment option for a transaction and receiving notification from the retail store about pending transactions.

Abstract: The environment and use of an immutable buffer. A computing entity acquires data or generates data and populates the data into the buffer, after which the buffer is classified as immutable. The classification protects the data populated within the immutable buffer from changing during the lifetime of the immutable buffer, and also protects the immutable buffer from having its physical address changed during the lifetime of the immutable buffer. As different computing entities consume data from the immutable buffer, they do so through views provided by a view providing entity. The immutable buffer architecture may also be used for streaming data in which each component of the streaming data uses an immutable buffer. Accordingly, different computing entities may view the immutable data differently without having to actually copy the data.

Abstract: An embodiment of a method for register placement in an integrated circuit (IC) includes determining a data path between circuit elements, placing at least one register along the data path, performing a static timing analysis on the data path, extracting top-level timing data to develop an extended timing path, the extended timing path comprising a plurality of timing path segments; processing the top-level timing data to determine whether the extended timing path violates a timing requirement, and moving the at least one register along the data path to satisfy the timing requirement if the timing requirement is violated.

The processor is programmed to cause the display device to display a plurality of games using a plurality of frames and to partially execute at least a first game of the plurality of games to create an intermediate game play outcome. The processor is also programmed to cause the display device to display the intermediate game play outcome and a wager reallocation input, to transfer, based on the wager reallocation input, at least a portion of a first wager associated with the first game to a second game of the plurality of games, and to enable play of the second game based on a second wager associated with the second game and the transferred portion of the first wager.
