  • Publication number: 20140038855
Abstract: Apparatus and methods provide rapid analysis of members of a combinatorial library. The apparatus includes a plurality of reactor vessels for containing individual library members, a fluid handling system that apportions a test fluid about equally between each of the vessels, and a housing for enclosing the reactor vessels. The housing defines a pressure chamber configured to sustain a pressure substantially above atmospheric pressure. This allows for simultaneous screening of library members at high pressure by providing a small pressure differential on reactor components. The apparatus is used for screening library members based on their ability to catalyze the conversion of fluid reactants.

  • Patent number: 7904267
Abstract: An adaptive method and device for identification and compensation of errors in resolver output signals which can increase the accuracy of position estimates of the resolver angle is disclosed. • Publication number: 20060006701
Abstract: The present invention comprises a system and method for protecting the interior of an automobile having at least a power roof or power windows. The method includes a damaging element detection sensor for detecting moisture or airborne particles which may damage the interior of the automobile by contacting the material when the automobile is left unattended with the automobile power roof or power windows in an open or lowered position. The damaging element detection sensor may be one of a moisture or particle sensor which detects airborne moisture or particles and accordingly automatically operates the power windows or power roof without the intervention of the automobile operator. The system evaluates whether the moisture or particles are still contacting the automobile and may return the power roof or power windows to the position they were in prior to the moisture detection.

A plurality of vessel supports are adapted for supporting the plurality of vessels. Caps sealingly engage the vessel supports for sealing the vessels within the vessel supports. The vessels, vessel supports, and caps define reaction chambers having bearings and stirrers rotatable therein. The stirrers each comprise a spindle rotatable in a respective bearing and at least one stirring implement extending from the spindle for contacting a respective reaction mixture. The stirrers further comprise at least one magnet adapted to be subjected to a rotating magnetic field in the vessel for causing the stirrer to rotate thereby to mix the respective reaction mixture.
