  • Patent number: 12536730
Abstract: A computing system provides a social media platform. The computing system includes one or more processors configured to execute instructions stored in associated memory to receive a base image including a human face and receive an image mask defining a region for inpainting to occur and a region for inpainting to not occur. The region for inpainting to not occur includes at least an eye region. The one or more processors are configured to receive a user text prompt and generate, at an artificial intelligence (AI) model, a face decoration texture using the base image, the image mask, and the user text prompt as input.

  • Patent number: 12136165
Abstract: A method for enhanced forward rendering is disclosed which includes a depth pre-pass, light culling and a final shading. The depth pre-pass minimizes the cost of final shading by avoiding high pixel overdraw. The light culling stage calculates a list of light indices overlapping a pixel. The light indices are calculated on a per-tile basis, where the screen has been split into units of tiles. The final shading evaluates materials using information stored for each light. The forward rendering method may be executed on a processor, such as a single graphics processing unit (GPU) for example.

  • Publication number: 20240220789
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to autonomous vehicle (AV) training, more specifically, to AV training in a collaborative synthetic environment (e.g., a metaverse). In some aspects, the present disclosure provides a process for collecting road data representing a real-world environment encountered by an autonomous vehicle and generating, using the road data, a synthetic environment representative of the real-world environment. In some aspects, the process can further include steps for establishing a connection between the synthetic environment and a remote device, wherein the remote device, and receiving a set of instructions from a user for interacting with the synthetic (virtual) environment. In some aspects, the process can further include steps for modifying the synthetic environment based on instructions received from the user.

  • Publication number: 20230169708
Abstract: A method of generating a matte for an image is disclosed. The method includes, with a processor, receiving image data representing the image, with the processor, selecting one or more objects represented in the image data, with the processor, generating an intermediate matte based on the selected objects, and with the processor, generating one or more splines based on the intermediate matte, where at least one of the selecting of the one or more objects, the generating of the intermediate matte, and the generating of the splines is performed by an artificial intelligence system. The method also includes, with the processor, receiving instructions to modify the generated splines, with the processor, generating modified splines by modifying the generated splines according to the received instructions, with the processor, generating training data based on the modified splines, and with the processor, training the artificial intelligence system with the training data.

  • Patent number: 11096654
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure are directed to accurate and non-invasive assessments of anatomic vessels (e.g., the internal jugular vein (IJV)) of vertebrates. For example, a piezoelectric crystal may generate a signal and receive a pulse echo of the signal along an axis extending through the piezoelectric crystal and an anatomic vessel. A force sensor disposed relative to the piezoelectric crystal may measure a force exerted (e.g., along skin of the vertebrate) on the anatomic vessel along the axis. The pulse echo received by the piezoelectric crystal and the force measured by the force sensor may, in combination, non-invasively and accurately determine a force response of the anatomic vessel. In turn, the force response may be probative of any one or more of a variety of different characteristics of the anatomic vessel including, for example, location of the anatomic vessel and pressure of the anatomic vessel.
