  • Publication number: 20200039779
Abstract: According to examples, a printing apparatus may include an output bin that is laterally translatable between a retracted position and an extended position. The printing apparatus may also include a sensor to detect a height of a stack of media on the output bin while the output bin is in the retracted position and a controller. The controller may determine whether the detected height of the stack of media on the output bin exceeds a certain level and in response to a determination that the detected height of the stack of media exceeds the certain level, laterally translate the output bin from the retracted position to the extended position.

  • Publication number: 20190126720
Abstract: A vent system for a vehicle includes a plurality of registers each having a power-actuated damper and a power-actuated airflow-directing shutter. A user interface is operatively linked to the power-actuated airflow-directing shutter. A controller is provided, adapted to automatically open the power-actuated damper of one or more of the plurality of registers disposed adjacent to an occupied vehicle seat. The user interface is adapted to control an orientation of the power-actuated airflow-directing shutter to direct an airflow to one of an upper zone, a middle zone, and a lower zone. The controller is adapted to translate the power-actuated damper between an open orientation and a closed orientation according to inputs received from one or more occupant location sensors. • Patent number: 9878870
Abstract: According to an example, to eject print media from an image forming apparatus, a variable page feed velocity of a first page of print media exiting a feed zone is detected. An acceleration value and a deceleration value based on the variable page feed velocity of the first page is calculated. The calculated acceleration is applied to a media movement component in the output zone when the entire first page has cleared a media sensor in the front of the output zone, and the deceleration is applied when the tail end of the first page is in a brake zone. In some examples, a second page of print media and a variable page feed velocity of the second page exiting the feed zone is detected, and the media movement component in the output zone is accelerated to match the variable page feed velocity of the second page.

  • Patent number: 9190725
Abstract: A test system may include a master test station and slave test stations. The test stations may receive devices under test such as portable wireless electronic devices. Each test station may have adjustable antenna structures coupled to test equipment. The adjustable antenna structures may include antenna support structures on which test antennas are mounted and rail along which the antenna support structures and test antennas are moved by a pneumatic positioner. A rotatable platform may be provided in each test station to support the device under test in that test station. By making a series of over-the-air test measurements in the master test station while adjusting the antenna system and device positioning system, a satisfactory location for the active test antenna and device position may be identified. This configuration may then be used in performing single-point over-the-air tests in the slave test stations.
