  • Publication number: 20240135669
Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to classify labels based on images using artificial intelligence are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a regional proposal network to determine a first bounding box for a first region of interest in a first input image of a product; and determine a second bounding box for a second region of interest in a second input image of the product; a neural network to: generate a first classification for a first label in the first input image using the first bounding box; and generate a second classification for a second label in the second input image using the second bounding box; a comparator to determine that the first input image and the second input image correspond to a same product; and a report generator to link the first classification and the second classification to the product.

  • Publication number: 20240092514
Abstract: A system for packaging one or more items includes an order arrangement station where the one or more items can be arranged into a stack with a desired configuration. A dimensioning mechanism determines the outer dimensions of the stack and a converting assembly creates a box template that when erected forms a box that is custom sized to the dimensions of the stack. A crowder assembly holds and maintains the stack in the desired configuration while the box template is at least partially folded around the stack. The box template is secured around the stack in the form of a box.

  • Patent number: 11935033
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a proximity-based secure communication system and method for digital transactions. The system comprises: a slave terminal with a near field communication (NFC) radio frequency communication channel, wherein the slave terminal remains in the listening mode in the NFC radio frequency communication channel; and a master electronic device with an NFC radio frequency communication channel. The slave terminal is configured to send an Answer-to-Reset (ATR) to the master electronic device when, by proximity, the slave terminal detects the activation of the NFC radio frequency channel. The slave terminal and the master electronic device exchange Application Protocol Data Unit (APDU) commands that represent a digital transaction by means of the NFC radio frequency channel, such that the master electronic device sends request APDU commands to the slave terminal, and the master electronic device receives reply APDU commands from the slave terminal.

  • Publication number: 20240023877
Abstract: A computer-implemented method (1) of detecting cognitive impairment comprising: receiving audio data (21) representing recorded utterances of a patient; processing the audio data using a speech-to-text engine (30) to produce a text transcription (301) of the recorded utterances; processing the text transcription to calculate (41) a plurality of test variables (411) associated with a neuropsychological test; calculating, by applying a trained detection model (51) on the plurality of test variables, an impairment probability (511) indicating a likelihood that the patient suffers from the cognitive impairment; and indicating that the patient suffers from the cognitive impairment if a final impairment probability based on the impairment probability is above a predetermined threshold, and indicating that the patient does not suffer from the cognitive impairment if the final impairment probability is below the predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230230373
Abstract: Computer-implemented method and system (100) for estimating vegetation coverage in a real-world environment. The system receives an RGB image (91) of a real-world scenery (1) with one or more plant elements (10) of one or more plant species. At least one channel of the RGB image (91) is provided to a semantic regression neural network (120) which is trained to estimate at least a near-infrared channel (NIR) from the RGB image. The system obtains an estimate of the near-infrared channel (NIR) by applying the semantic regression neural network (120) to the at least one RGB channel (91). A multi-channel image (92) comprising at least one of the R-, G-, B-channels (R, G, B) of the RGB image and the estimated near-infrared channel (NIR), is provided as test input (TI1) to a semantic segmentation neural network (130) trained with multi-channel images to segment the test input (TI1) into pixels associated with plant elements and pixels not associated with plant elements.
