  • Publication number: 20230047574
Abstract: A mixing bowl for a stand mixer includes a body defining an interior and an exterior. The body has first and second mounting flanges extending outwardly from opposite sides of the exterior and defining respective cavities open at least on bottom sides of the mounting flanges. The mixing bowl further includes first and second inserts fixedly received in the respective cavities of the first and second mounting flanges. The inserts define respective pin holes for receiving mounting pins of a bowl-lift mechanism of the stand mixer, the first and second pin holes being located relative to each other at a first tolerance and relative to the respective first and second flanges at a second tolerance lower than the first tolerance.

  • Patent number: 11561011
Abstract: A rack for a cooking appliance includes a perimeter rim that has a first end, a second end, a first side rail, and a second side rail. A plurality of spaced rails are disposed between each of the first and second rails and the first and second ends of the perimeter rim. An elongated member is operably coupled to the perimeter rim and is proximate to the plurality of spaced rails. A crossbar is disposed proximate to the elongated member. The crossbar defines an opening directly behind the elongated member along a length of the elongated member and a length of the crossbar.

  • Publication number: 20220267101
Abstract: There is disclosed a drive over conveyor system for transporting peanuts from a loading area, where peanuts are deposited from a trailer onto the conveyor belt of the drive over conveyor, to a discharge area where the peanuts are discharged from the conveyor belt of the drive over conveyor to another conveyor belt system that transports the discharged peanuts toa storage location. The speed of the drive over conveyor belt is adjusted such that the force exerted on the peanuts as they are discharged therefrom allows the peanuts to be deposited to the conveyor belt of the other conveyor belt system without the need for a hood or other apparatus to direct the peanuts from one conveyor belt to the other.

  • Patent number: 11161285
Abstract: A method of sub-ambient pressure processing of blow-molded polymer foams and skin-over-foam sandwich panel configurations for lightweight components having improved structural properties. The method can create either skinned or un-skinned foams that offer smooth interior and exterior surfaces, zero or controlled surface porosity, skins of pre-defined thickness, and foam cells that are expanded and oriented normal to the material plane, effectively spherical or polyhedral in nature, and offering improved bending and compressive strength.

  • Patent number: 10743713
Abstract: A cooking device includes a bottom wall having a raised cooking surface surrounded by an overflow trough. A liquid dispersion pattern is disposed on the raised cooking surface and includes a plurality of channels configured to channel liquid towards a peripheral edge of the raised cooking surface. Each channel includes a first end disposed in a first plane and a second end disposed in a second plane that is vertically offset form the first plane. A body portion of each channel interconnects the first and second ends. The channels are spaced apart to define support ribs therebetween which are configured to abuttingly support a food substrate on the cooking device during a cooking procedure. With the channels positioned between the support ribs, the food substrate is supported in an intermittent manner on the cooking surface as compared to full contact support found in conventional cooking devices.

  • Publication number: 20180252092
Abstract: A sensor system for a sub-sea oil and gas well includes a casing, a transmit coil, a receive coil, and a processor. The casing defines an interior space through which a drilling pipe string transits. The transmit coil is coupled to the casing and is configured to conduct a current pulse and induce an electromagnetic field within the interior space. The electromagnetic field corresponds with the current pulse and interacts with the drilling pipe string. The receive coil is coupled to the casing and is configured to detect the electromagnetic field, including perturbations of the electromagnetic field due to the drilling pipe string's interaction therewith. The processor is coupled to the transmit coil and the receive coil. The processor is configured to compute a diameter of the drilling pipe string based on the current pulse and the electromagnetic field detected by the receive coil.
