  • Patent number: 9941445
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for texturing a semiconductor substrate (1), comprising steps consisting in forming a plurality of cavities of random shapes, depths and distribution, in an etch mask (2), by means of non-homogeneous reactive-ion etching, forming a first rough random design, and etching the substrate using the etch mask, by means of reactive-ion etching, in such a way as to transfer the first rough random design into the substrate and to produce a second rough random design (200), comprising cavities (20) of random shapes, depths (d2r) and distribution, on the surface of the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20170326160
Abstract: The invention relates to a halogenated salicylanilide selected from closantel, rafoxanide, oxyclozanide and niclosamide and derivatives thereof including salts, hydrates, esters and the like for use in the topical treatment or prevention of infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus, in particular Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus, in particular Streptococcus pyogenes. Gram positive bacteria treated with the halogenated salicylanilides exhibit a very low frequency of appearance of resistant mutants compared to commonly used topical antibiotics.

  • Publication number: 20160276920
Abstract: The protection device for providing protection against short-circuits upstream from an electrical power supply module having an inlet filter with at least one capacitor and an inductor and having a converter with components associated with a plurality of freewheel diodes includes at least one auxiliary winding and a dissipator element associated with the inlet filter, thereby making it possible to provide an inlet filter of small size without over dimensioning the freewheel diodes.

  • Patent number: 5629694
Abstract: A computer is provided with a power provisioning system for connection to an external power source and comprising a main power supply, a standby power supply, and control circuitry that selectively places the system in an ON state in which the main power supply is energised from the external power source and supplies power to main circuitry (C) of the computer, and a STANDBY state in which the standby power supply is energised from the external power source but the main power supply and the main circuitry (C) are de-energised. In order to make it easy for a user to ensure that the main cicuitry (C) is powered up, one of the standard keys of the computer keyboard, for example the space bar key, is provided with an additional set of contacts not associated with the key scanning arrangement of the keyboard.

  • Patent number: 4794592
Abstract: A serial network architecture is presented which can be used to link user oriented devices together. Network devices are linked together in serial fashion. If data is transmitted serially, an interface between two devices requires only two wires. Additionally, a wire for power and a wire for ground may be added so that each individual network device does not need to have its own power supply.
