Abstract: A method including receiving a request to access a meeting record from a user is provided. The meeting record may indicate at least one meeting participant, an audio/video recording and a presentation from one of the participants in the meeting. The method includes verifying an access privilege of the user for the meeting record, providing the meeting record to the user, for playback of a selected portion, and providing, in the meeting record, a selecting tool to the user, for playing the selected portion, wherein the selecting tool is configured to playback the selected portion for one of multiple participants in the meeting.

Abstract: A method including receiving a request to access a meeting record from a user is provided. The meeting record includes an identification for at least one participant in a meeting, an audio recording for the at least one participant, a video recording for the at least one participant, and a presentation from one of the participants in the meeting. Abstract: Methods are provided for providing a unified communication history of a multi-modal communication. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a plurality of event logs related to the multi-modal communication. The multi-modal communication comprises a first communication modality and a second communication modality. The method includes aggregating the one or more events from the event logs as a plurality of aggregated events and resolving an identity of each user from among the plurality of users in the plurality of aggregated events. The method includes storing the aggregated events into a communication history of the multi-modal communication. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

Abstract: Methods and systems for intelligently routing an incoming call are provided. An automatic call distribution system may include a call flow service that receives incoming calls, and a separate weighted-bid call distribution service. The call flow service can request a recommended recipient for each incoming call from the weighted-bid call distribution service. The weighted-bid call distribution service identifies a recommended recipient for each incoming call by generating a priority weight for that call, one or more relevance weights that indicate the relevance of one or more potential recipients to that call, and an availability weight for one or more potential recipients with high relevancy weights. The weighted-bid call distribution service identifies a recommended recipient by comparing a combination of the priority weight for the call and the relevancy weights for the high relevancy recipients to the availability weight for those recipients.

Abstract: A permission manager detects when the message including the link is forwarded and sends a notification to the author indicating that the message was forwarded to another recipient. A notification may also be sent to the recipient who received the forwarded message indicating that the author has been notified that the recipient is not authorized to access the linked content within the forwarded message. The author may set the permissions for accessing the linked content from permission options that are displayed with the notification message sent by the permission manager. Once the permissions are set, the permission manager may send a notification to the recipient of the forwarded message with information relating to the set permissions.

Abstract: A method for providing a meeting record to a meeting participant is provided. The method includes identifying a presence, in a meeting, of one participant and identifying a start of the meeting. The method also includes recording during the meeting, from the participant or from multiple participants, an audio, a video, and recording, from one of the participants in the meeting, a presentation. The method includes creating a meeting record with identifications of the participants in the meeting, the audio of the participant, the video of the participant, and the presentation from one of the participants in the meeting by forming a timeline file with a condensed transcript of highlights from the audio and the video, and providing the meeting record for a playback to a second participant in the meeting, upon request. A system and a non-transitory medium storing instructions to cause the system to perform the above method are also provided.

Abstract: A computing device may send a request to a telephony server over a network to initiate a call with a telephony device, and may output for display a graphical user interface (GUI). A first process executing at the computing device may provide a first one or more call controls in the GUI for controlling the call. A second process executing at the computing device may provide a second one or more call controls in the GUI for controlling the call. In response to receiving user input indicative of a selection of a call control from the first one or more call controls to perform an action for the call, the second process may update the second one or more call controls based at least in part on the action to be performed.

Abstract: A system may send content to be shared in an online meeting between a plurality of computing devices to each of the plurality of computing devices. The system may receive, from a computing device associated with a presenter role in the online meeting from the plurality of computing devices, indications of interactions with the content. The system may, in response to receiving the indications of the interactions, send one or more commands to each of the plurality of computing devices other than the computing device to synchronize presentation of the content at each of the plurality of computing devices other than the computing device according to the interactions with the content by the computing device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling a communication device using a web-based unified communication platform are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving initial call status data from notification services. The method includes configuring bi-directional data binding between the platform and call servers. The method also includes generating a call initiation request by providing parameters associated with the first communication device to the call servers and transmitting the call initiation request to the first communication device. The method also includes connecting, in response to the first communication device accepting the call initiation request, the first communication device to the platform to facilitate a call to a second communication device. The method also includes receiving updated call status data associated with the call.

Abstract: Methods for predicting preferred communications patterns are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a request from a first user to initiate communication with a second user by a first communication method, determining a communication preference hierarchy of the second user based on a plurality of factors concerning the second user, wherein the plurality of factors include a presence state, selecting a second communication method from the communication preference hierarchy, wherein the second communication method is preferred over the first communication method in the communication preference hierarchy, and in response to the request from the first user, providing a recommendation to the first user to communicate with the second user by the second communication method. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

Abstract: An option is presented with an electronic message to automatically upload and permission an attachment to the electronic message. A single click may be received to upload the attachment to a shared location (e.g. network share, online service, and the like). Permissions may be automatically set for the message recipients of the electronic message. For example, a default set of permissions and/or custom permissions may be set for each of the recipients listed on the To:/Cc:/Bcc: lines. A link to the shared location may also be automatically inserted into the electronic message along with or in place of the attachment.

Abstract: A method including receiving, from a participant, a request for starting an event including at least one second participant and a topic is provided. The method includes providing to one second participant an invitation to join the event, receiving, from any one of the participants, a document, and providing the document to all participants for view and/or editing, and providing the document to all participants upon request within a time period. The method includes granting access to the event to a participant, permitting the participant to access and modify the document in the event, and receiving a request from one of the participants to switch one of the first client device or a second client device used by a participant to continue to participate in the event. A system to perform the above method is also provided.

Abstract: The size of attachments to an electronic message are examined before the message is sent to determine if the attachments exceed a size threshold. When the size of the attachments exceed the threshold, one or more of the attachments are uploaded to a shared location that is accessible to the recipients of the message. A link replaces each attachment that was uploaded to the shared location. Permissions are automatically set at the shared location such that each of the recipients of the message are able to access the uploaded attachment.

Abstract: A navigation bar is provided for switching between modules within an expanded communication service such as email, calendar, contacts, tasks, etc. and for presenting preview peeks associated with each module to a user. A temporary preview of a module may be provided upon a hover action over predefined navigation bar locations such as icons and/or textual identifiers without actually needing to switch to a module. The preview may also be docked or pinned to a location on the main user interface so that it is displayed within the main user interface. New or interesting activity within each module may be highlighted by displaying an information badge next to a module name, for example.

Abstract: A user may select an attachment for an electronic message from a most recently used (MRU) list of files. For example, when a user is composing an electronic message, they may select a file to attach to the message from the MRU list. The recently used files that are included within the MRU list may be related to or more applications/locations and/or one or more computing devices. For example, the MRU list may include files accessed by one or more different authoring applications and/or files that have recently been accessed/created that are associated with the user.
