Patent number: 12280473Abstract: A main shaft of a power tool is sequentially divided into an impact section, a penetrative section and an output section, wherein the impact section is formed with an impact portion and has a curved recess defined therein, and the penetrative section is adapted to extend through a front portion of the power tool. The main shaft has a linear tunnel defined therein and extending therethrough. The linear tunnel has two opposite ends respectively defined as an inlet and an outlet, wherein the inlet is situated in the output section and the outlet is adapted to correspond to an impact block of an impact device of the power tool. An axis of the linear tunnel is formed an included angle with an axis of the main shaft.Type: GrantFiled: January 5, 2021Date of Patent: April 22, 2025Inventor: Jeff Liu

Patent number: 12019446Abstract: Vehicles, systems, and techniques are provided for noise reduction in detection in remote sensing systems. Noise reduction can be accomplished, in some embodiments, by narrowing a time interval to receive return EM radiation (or, in other embodiments, EM signals representative of the return EM radiation) at a system mounted in a vehicle. The time interval can be narrowed by adjusting the time during which the system can receive the return EM radiation. In other embodiments, rather than adjusting the time interval, a processing unit can remove a portion of data representative of a signal resulting from mixing probe EM radiation and return EM radiation. The data that is removed can be representative of the signal during a leading interval of the defined period during which probe EM radiation is emitted. Such a removal can result in second data representative of the signal during a terminal interval of the defined period.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2020Date of Patent: June 25, 2024Assignee: GM Cruise Holdings LLCInventors: Cheh-Ming Jeff Liu, Alexander Charles Standridge

Patent number: 9584152Abstract: A current-steering digital-to-analog converter may include dual current switch modules configured to receive digital input bits representative of desired analog output, and each dual current switch module may be controlled by one of the digital input bits. Each digital input bit may be represented by differential signals. The positive input and the negative input to drive two separate current switches in the dual current switch module may be separated, which may make the switching transition noise generated in the two current switches have a 180 degree phase difference. The output currents of these two current switches may be summed in proper phase to add the in-phase signal currents while canceling out the 180 degree out-of-phase switching noises generated in the two current switches. The 2nd order harmonic distortion and other higher even order harmonic distortions due to the common mode switching noise may be greatly reduced.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2016Date of Patent: February 28, 2017Assignee: Euvis, Inc.Inventors: Neng-Haung Sheng, Cheh-Ming Jeff Liu

Patent number: 8984433Abstract: An enterprise management system may present data in a user interface that contains tabular data and a graphical representation of the tabular data. The graphical representation may change based on portions of the tabular data that may be selected, and may show a graphical data summary if no rows are selected, or detailed graphical illustrations of the selected rows. In some cases, filters may be applied to the data, and a selection tool may enable a user to select from several different parameters in each row.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 2007Date of Patent: March 17, 2015Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLC.Inventors: Peter Francis Martone, David James, Jeff Liu, Ransom VanOrman, Jun Wang, Sobia Tariq

Patent number: 8478802Abstract: An item grouping mechanism may be applied to files or other computer objects to allow the files or objects to be accessed according to the group definition. The group definition may be defined in a table with other group definitions and distributed across an organization so that each device using the group definition may have files or other items presented in a consistent manner. The group definition may be distributed through a different mechanism than for the files or other items. If a device determines that a file defined in the group definition is missing from a local store, the device may retrieve the file from a distribution server.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2007Date of Patent: July 2, 2013Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Peter Francis Martone, Gaurav Dhawan, David James, Jeff Liu, Richard Xia, Jun Wang, Joshua Pointer, Sobia Tariq
