  • Publication number: 20220290992
Abstract: Technology segments an input flight path into segments based on terrain data, identifies target altitude heights of endpoints of the segments based on the terrain data and a target cruise altitude of an aircraft, identifies local maximas associated with the segments that are arranged in an order along the input flight path, identifies one or more local maximas of the local maximas that represent a dip in altitude from a previous one or more of the local maximas, removes the one or more local maximas from the plurality of local maximas to generate a reduced list of local maximas, sets a plurality of waypoints as the endpoints and the local maximas in the reduced list of local maximas, generates a flight path based at least in part on the plurality of waypoints, and causes the flight path to be provided to the at aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20180201854
Abstract: Apparatus and related methods for reacting a natural oil with a short chain alcohol in the presence of an alkaline catalyst and mesh to produce biodiesel, significantly decreasing the amount of time for the glycerol byproduct to settle out of the reaction mixture. The process for the production of biodiesel includes providing animal or vegetable oil to create a first component, combining a short chain alcohol with a strong base to create a second component, and combining the first and second components together in the presence of a mesh, such that the mesh is in contact with the combined components. The combined compositions represent a reaction mixture that undergo a transesterification reaction and produce fatty acid methyl ester biodiesel and also a glycerol byproduct. The mesh material that is present during the transesterification reaction decreases the amount of time required for the glycerol byproduct to settle out of the reaction mixture.

  • Publication number: 20100223557
Abstract: A system including a central server and a database for performing Intellectual Property (IP) management workflow processes is provided for creating, defining, and performing IP related workflow process. IP workflow routines present via a graphical user interface workflow screens to facilitate the exchange of data and instructions. An administration module is used to create authorized user accounts and assign roles and privileges involved in execution of IP workflow routines. A workflow creation module generates a user interface to facilitate creation of a user-defined IP workflow routine having user-defined workflow tasks to process IP related data received via user interface workflow screens. An IP management application may access, process and modify IP related data stored at the database while the IP workflow routines access and process IP related data stored at the database simultaneously with execution of the IP management application.

  • Publication number: 20090057157
Abstract: Embodiments include treatment of substrates, formation of structures, and formation of multilayer structures using contact masks where a controlled mating of the contact masks and substrates is used. Some embodiments involve controlled mating at speeds equal to or less than 10 microns/second, more preferably equal to or less than 5 microns/second, and even more preferably equal to or less than 1 micron/second. Some embodiments involve controlled mating that uses a higher speed of approach when further away followed by a slower speed of approach to cause mating. Some embodiments involve controlled mating that uses a higher speed of approach when making preliminary contact, then backing away a desired distance, and then making a mating approach that causes mating while using a slower mating speed.

  • Publication number: 20080092295
Abstract: The present invention is a vibratory patient support system. The support system has at least one bladder, at least one vibrational device, and first and second control units that respectively control (a) the inflation and deflation of the at least one bladder and (b) vibrational device. The at least one bladder (i) inflates when receiving a fluid at a faster rate than the fluid exiting the bladder; (ii) deflates when the fluid leaves the bladder at a faster rate than the fluid entering the bladder, and (iii) has a top surface that allows a user to apply pressure thereon and a bottom surface. The vibrational device (a) is positioned (i) under the bottom surface of the bladder, or (ii) within the bladder and below the top surface of the at least one bladder so it does not contact the top surface; and (b) generates a vibrational force. The first control unit can adjust the inflation of the at least one bladder. The second control unit can adjust the vibration forces generated from the vibration device.

  • Publication number: 20070118448
Abstract: My Corporate Lotto (MCL) was developed primarily as a lottery game management computer application, designed to maintain, and distribute funds, to members of a syndicate known as shareholders. With MCL, winnings are distributed proportionally to how much each shareholder has invested in the syndicate or group, known as the Corporation. The application may also be used where a monetary, award, banking, or profit sharing program is implemented, where distribution of awards are shared among members of the group based on their level of interest or investment in the corporation.
