Abstract: A turbine engine fleet wash management system is configured to electronically communicate with a turbine engine system, a fleet management service, and a cleaning management service. The turbine engine fleet wash system causes a cleaning of a turbine engine to occur based on information received from the turbine engine system and other sources. The turbine engine fleet wash management system includes a cleaning schedule optimizer that generates a cleaning schedule based on engine health monitoring data, engine operation data, maintenance schedules for the turbine engine, and cleaning regimen data. The cleaning schedule optimizer estimates turbine engine performance improvements based on the selected cleaning regimen, and calculating an estimate of carbon credits earned based on the predicted improvement in turbine engine performance.

Wands according to the present disclosure include inlet assemblies adapted to connect to cleaning agents, dispensers adapted to discharge cleaners into gas turbine engines, and conduits that extend from the inlet assemblies to the dispensers.

Abstract: A first wireless end-user device is designated as subject to controls under a device group authorization from a master wireless end-user device. The first device receives a protection management profile from the master device, and compares settings in the profile to a device location change state (e.g., speed) and a device user I/O method state (e.g., touchscreen, hands-free, Bluetooth, voice-activated, etc.). According to the profile, at certain speeds and I/O methods, one or more device service and/or network activities are limited. The master device may send multiple such profiles to the first device, any of which if applicable can limit different service and/or network activities in different situations.

A method comprising: obtaining information to assist in identifying a portion of a user interface of a wireless device, the wireless device communicatively coupled to a network system over a wireless access network; determining a differentiating attribute of the identified portion of the user interface; obtaining one or more service launch objects for placement in the identified portion of the user interface; and sending configuration information to the wireless device over the wireless access network to assist the wireless device in placing the one or more service launch objects in the identified portion of the user interface.

The mobile supply unit includes a cleaning agent supply that introduces cleaning agent into the turbine engine. The aircraft includes at least one valve configured to block cleaning agent from moving from the turbine engine into a passenger cabin of the aircraft.

Abstract: A master wireless device and a child wireless device execute respective device activation sequences. On the child wireless device, the activation sequence displays, on a display of the device, a non-textual image representing a unique child device credential. On the master wireless device, the activation sequence prompts a user to capture a digital picture of the child wireless device screen. The master wireless device presents its own credentials, along with information from the digital picture, to a service management system in a network, allowing the service management system to verify that the master wireless device is associated with a subscriber and is allowed to configure a child device, as well as verify the child device. Upon successful verification, the service management system activates the child wireless device to the subscriber account of the master wireless device.

When predetermined cold check conditions have been met; the tire pressure values are automatically stored with a timestamp (38) for later access by a user.

Abstract: Improvements in a graffiti covering skin are disclosed the covering skin is formed from multiple layers of transparent or filtering layers that can be individually removed to provide a new layer without graffiti or damage. Each layer of the skin provides different functions to provide a material that covers existing graffiti and creates a new surface that reduces or repels future graffiti from being placed on the original host surface. One of the layers can be a visual pattern layer that provides the desired appearance of a hard surface of stainless steel, mirror, wood, color, marble, granite or light filtering. This layer provides a structural rigidity that maintains dimensional stability. The skin is backed with a removable adhesive that is removed from a host surface without leaving a residue. Each skin is measured and cut to the desired size before placement on the host surface.

Abstract: A wireless end-user device has wireless wide-area network (WWAN) and wireless local-area network (WLAN) modems. One or more processors attribute data communications for at least one of the modems to respective personas, including a first persona for usage of the device that is personal to the user and a second persona for usage of the device that is on behalf of an enterprise. The device transmits information to a network element that reflects the attribution of the data communications. The information is adapted for use in allocating a first amount of wireless data consumption to one of the personas.
