  • Patent number: 9202393
Abstract: A product display marking system for use with product shelves that have plural shelf channels, which receive product markers, and wherein each shelf channel has a channel length. The system includes a bulk product marker that is configured as a continuous strip of material that has a width selected to fit the plural shelf channels, and that has plural tear lines oriented transverse to the continuous length, and which are spaced apart by a strip length that is an integer divisor of the plural channel lengths. One or more strip lengths of the bulk product marker, which are selected to equal a selected one of the plural channel lengths, are selected and torn along one of the plural tear lines, for insertion into the selected one of the plural shelf channels, thereby marking the product disposed thereon.

  • Patent number: 9169155
Abstract: A method and apparatus for cleaning a cavity of a vacuum insulated glass window assembly is provided in which a cleaning gas mixture of or including ozone is introduced into the cavity of the vacuum insulated glass assembly and allowed to react with residual materials, such as, for example, hydrocarbons and/or polymers. Reacted hydrocarbons and/or polymers are then removed from the vacuum cavity along with any residual cleaning gas mixture. The cleaning method is preferably performed at substantially ambient temperatures or at least temperatures below about 250° C. The ozone cleaning cycle may be repeated multiple times and followed by additional purges with other gases, such as for example nitrogen. Additional energy may be provided by heating, RF plasma; corona discharge, UV lamp, and/or the like.

  • Publication number: 20150203916
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and materials for assessing thoracic aortic aneurysm using a combination of protein and microRNA biomarkers. The presence or levels of the biomarkers can be measured in a body fluid, such as plasma and serum, or in cardiac tissue, to predict the presence and severity of TAA in a subject. This can be used to diagnose and monitor TAA, providing early detection of a lethal and silent disease, as well as reduce the frequency of radiological procedures, which are costly and potentially dangerous.

  • Patent number: 9075713
Abstract: A method detects anomalies in time series data, wherein the time series data is multivariate, by partitioning time series training data into partitions. A representation for each partition in each time window is determined to form a model of the time series training data, wherein the model includes representations of distributions of the time series training data. The representations obtained from partitions of time series test data are compared to the model to obtain anomaly scores.
