  • Patent number: 11219144
Abstract: Electromagnetic shields for sub-modules of electronic modules are disclosed. Electronic modules may include multiple sub-modules arranged on a substrate with an electromagnetic shield arranged to conformally cover the sub-modules as well as portions of the substrate that are uncovered by the sub-modules. Electromagnetic shields are disclosed that are configured to extend between sub-modules to form one or more divider walls. The one or more divider walls may be configured to extend below mounting surfaces of electronic components in the sub-modules to provide improved reduction of electromagnetic interference (EMI) or crosstalk between various sub-modules. Electromagnetic shields are also disclosed that form perimeter sidewalls that extend below mounting surfaces of electronic components of sub-modules to provide improved reduction of EMI from other modules or other external sources.

  • Publication number: 20210391102
Abstract: An integrated insulator sealing and shielding assembly includes a rubber housing having a plurality of radial weathersheds and a tapered end adjacent an endmost radial weathershed. The tapered end has an outer surface with a ring extending outward from the outer surface. The ring is compressible. A metal end fitting is disposed adjacent to the endmost radial weathershed and receives the tapered end. The tapered end is received in a counterbore in the metal end fitting. The counterbore has a sealing surface so that interference of the ring with the sealing surface creates a compressive sealing force to form a seal.

  • Publication number: 20210282700
Abstract: A seizure characterization method includes correlating locations of electrodes placed around a brain and used to produce sequential electroencephalography (EEG) signals with a three-dimensional anatomical brain model derived from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The sequential EEG signals are modelled from the electrodes placed around the brain in three dimensions using cortical and sub-cortical brain regions included in the brain model to define constraints for the numerical solution. Amounts of the sequential EEG signals are quantified in three dimensions relative to the brain regions included in the brain model. The method also includes establishing, based on the quantifying, at least one propagation pattern of the sequential EEG signals in time relative to the brain regions in the brain model.

  • Publication number: 20200215383
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and systems for non-linear breathing entrainment. As described herein, “breathing entrainment” refers to guiding a user's breath or breathing. According to an aspect, an initial breathing period and a final breathing period are selected. Based on the initial and final breathing periods, a non-linear breath rate per minute sequence is determined. A guiding stimulus is output and aligned with the non-linear breath rate per minute sequence. The guiding stimulus is non-linearly altered with the non-linear breath rate per minute sequence to align with the final breathing period over an interval of time. The non-linear alterations of the guiding stimulus vary based on an amount of time the guiding stimulus has been output.
