    Abstract: One embodiment disclosed herein is related to a device for pointing a radiating element. The device includes an aligned radiating surface; a hinge that is circumferentially mounted to a rear side of the aligned radiating surface, the hinge configured to change azimuth of the aligned radiating surface; and a Tubular Universal joint (TU-joint) having one end coupled to a rear side of the aligned radiating surface and a second end coupled to a base, the TU-joint being configured to change an elevation of the aligned radiating surface. Another embodiment is related to a Tubular Universal-joint (TU-joint). In the embodiment, the TU-joint includes a hollow tube having a first end and a second end; a plurality of slits along the surface of the tube; and a plurality of members between the plurality of slits, each of the plurality of members configured to bear a portion of a load of the TU-joint, wherein the TU-joint is configured to be axially and torsionally stiff while being bendable.

The PTC system is configured to restrict movement of the vehicle system based on a location of the vehicle system. The PTC system communicates a list of vehicle identifiers to the one or more processors. The communication device communicates a wireless linking message, which includes a vehicle identifier associated with the first remote vehicle, to the first remote vehicle. The communication device establishes a communication link between the lead vehicle and the first remote vehicle responsive to receipt of the wireless linking message at the first remote vehicle. The one or more processors remotely control movement of the first remote vehicle via the communication link.

    Abstract: A hybrid vehicle includes an engine, an electric machine selectively coupled to the engine, a transmission having a torque converter impeller coupled to the electric machine and a torque converter clutch configured to selectively couple the impeller to a turbine, and a controller configured to control pressure of the torque converter clutch responsive to estimated clutch capacity, which is adjusted by the controller to equal impeller torque responsive to impeller speed exceeding turbine speed during clutch disengagement. A model of estimated torque converter clutch capacity may be stored in memory and adapted to actual clutch capacity by applying a gain or offset determined during opening of the clutch.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for controlling allocation of data into cache storage. The apparatus comprises processing circuitry for executing instructions, and a cache storage for storing data accessed when executing the instructions. Cache control circuitry is arranged, while a sensitive allocation condition is determined to exist, to be responsive to the processing circuitry speculatively executing a memory access instruction that identifies data to be allocated into the cache storage, to allocate the data into the cache storage and to set a conditional allocation flag in association with the data allocated into the cache storage. The cache control circuitry is then responsive to detecting an allocation resolution event, to determine based on the type of the allocation resolution event whether to clear the conditional allocation flag such that the data is thereafter treated as unconditionally allocated, or to cause invalidation of the data in the cache storage.

The outer wall, the inner wall, and the end wall together define a fluid conduit extended in a first direction toward the downstream end of the fuel injector and in a second direction toward an upstream end of the fuel injector. The outer sleeve and the centerbody define a premix passage radially therebetween and an outlet at the downstream end of the premix passage. The outer sleeve defines a plurality of radially oriented first air inlet ports in circumferential arrangement at a first axial portion of the outer sleeve.

    Abstract: The invention relates to structural panel systems which utilize different configurations to increase the flexibility of the panel systems. The increased flexibility of the panel systems may be achieved through the use of improved connection patterns and/or improved sidelap strength. The improved sidelap strength may be achieved through the use of a reinforcing member between edges of the panels or other sidelap configurations that improve the strength of the system along the sidelaps. The increased flexibility may also be achieved through the use of orienting flutes of the panels in the same direction as the supports members of the panel systems. The different aspects of the invention that improve the flexibility of the systems may be utilized alone or in combination with each other to improve the wall panel systems or roof panel systems, or combinations thereof, to improve the displacement capacity of the panel systems for in-plane shear loading.
