  • Publication number: 20150381629
Abstract: An approach is provided in which a crowd source access manager receives a user request from a requestor to access a resource and determines a set of candidate approvers of the resource. The crowd source access manager identifies a crowd sourced set of users corresponding to the requestor and identifies preferred approvers from the crowd sourced set of users that are also included in the set of candidate approvers. In turn, the crowd source access manager notifies the preferred approvers of the user request.

  • Patent number: 9167029
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for managing group members. A computer identifies a collaboration activity that corresponds to a defined group, wherein the defined group includes one or more individuals, and the collaboration activity is comprised of the defined group and one or more additional individuals. The computer determines participation and contribution information that correspond to the one or more individuals of the defined group and the one or more additional individuals included in the identified collaboration activity. The computer determines relevant individuals from the identified collaboration activity by utilizing determined participation and contribution information. In response to determining the relevant individuals, the computer determines an updated group wherein the updated group includes determined relevant individuals.

  • Publication number: 20150229531
Abstract: A processor receives a submission to post to a social media platform, wherein the submission includes content. The processor analyzes the content of the submission. The processor determines an impact of the content of the submission. The processor determines one or more objectives of an impact assessment, wherein each of the one or more objectives is associated with a potential impact. The processor compares the impact of the submission to the one or more objectives, based on the content of the submission which is analyzed. The processor determines an impact assessment, wherein the impact assessment is based on whether the impact meets the one or more objectives, and the processor performs an action based on the impact assessment.

  • Patent number: 9043471
Abstract: A method for managing resources of clusters is disclosed. A computer retrieves data about an event and other data about past events. The computer selects a set of past events that are similar to the event, based on the data about the event and the other data about the past events. The computer then analyzes the data about the event and the other data about the past events associated with the set of past events to identify a portion of the resources of one or more of the clusters required for use by the event.

  • Publication number: 20150127751
Abstract: Historical content corresponding to activity of a user in at least one social networking service is aggregated. The historical content indicates a plurality of collaboration partners with whom the user collaborated via the at least one social networking service in an occupation context. Based on the aggregated historical content, at least one of the collaboration partners can be identified as at least one priority collaboration partner. Whether the user currently is not in a facility where the user works can be automatically determined. Responsive to determining that the user is not in the facility where the user works, a message indicating that the user is not in the facility where the user works can be automatically sent to the at least one priority collaboration partner.

  • Patent number: 8958326
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for VoIP session quality is described. A method may comprise allowing a user to define a session quality threshold for a Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) session of a VoIP conference, the session quality threshold corresponding to a session quality characteristic of the VoIP session. The method may further comprise determining a session quality value for the session quality characteristic of the VoIP session. The method may additionally comprise determining if the session quality value for the session quality characteristic of the VoIP session is unacceptable based upon, at least in part, the session quality threshold that corresponds to the session quality characteristic of the VoIP session. The method may also comprise, in response to determining that the session quality value is unacceptable, initiating one or more predefined session quality actions.
