  • Patent number: 11833105
Abstract: A safety walker having a frame with a set of spherical caster wheels connected to the lower portion of the frame to provide omnidirectional movement with reduced force. A braking system is provided, where when a weight exceeding a threshold weight is applied to the frame, the brake is engaged to inhibit movement of the walker on the ground. The brake may use a mechanism in which each spherical caster wheel is retractably mounted within a lower end of a corresponding leg of the frame. Each spherical wheel is spring-loaded to urge the spherical wheel downward from the lower end of the corresponding leg. As weight is applied to the frame, the spherical caster wheel is pushed into the lower end of the leg, allowing the lower end of the leg to contact the ground surface and maintain stationary contact between the leg and the ground surface.

  • Patent number: 11167211
Abstract: A spectator client device receives a plurality of spectator update frames that include respective actual physics state information for game objects of respective participants in a multiplayer game session. The spectator client device buffers respective ones of the spectator update frames for respective participants, and determines based on respective downlink spectator update frames buffered for the respective participants, respective simulated playback physical states at a common playback time of a current simulation period. A particular simulated playback physical state for a particular participant is determined based on actual physics state information obtained from at least two respective downlink spectator update frames buffered for the particular participant.

  • Patent number: 9866035
Abstract: A rotatable coupling includes an input housing rotatably coupled to an output housing by a tube fixed to the output housing and on which tube the input housing rotates. The coupling includes two magnetic flux concentrators disposed about the tube and defining therebetween an annular cavity, a first concentrator fixed to the input housing and a second concentrator fixed to the output housing, such that relative rotation of the housings causes relative rotation of the concentrators on either side of the annular cavity. The coupling includes concentric coils disposed within the annular cavity that permit power transfer across the coupling, a first coil fixed to the input housing and a second coil fixed to the output housing; an emitter fixed to the input housing; and a receiver fixed to the output housing and positioned to receive the signals from the emitter during the relative rotation of the housings.
