  • Publication number: 20240146773
Abstract: A policy management server manages a segmentation policy and automatically configures an enclave protection device consistently with the segmentation policy so that that the segmentation policy can be enforced with respect to workloads within a secure enclave protected by the enclave protection device. The policy management server identifies protected workloads that are members of a secure enclave and external workloads that are external to the secure enclave. The policy management server identifies cross-boundary rules of the segmentation policy affecting traffic between the protected workloads and external workloads. The policy management server generates and distributes a configuration of the enclave protection device to enable enforcement of the cross-boundary rules pertaining to traffic passing through the enclave protection device.

  • Patent number: 11944728
Abstract: An air treatment device includes a housing and a pad holder mounted within the housing. The pad holder has an opening providing access to a support surface for a scented pad. When positioned on the support surface the scented pad has a first end portion remote from the opening and a second end portion adjacent the opening. A mechanism associated with the pad holder is configured to at least partially remove the scented pad from the pad holder. The mechanism includes a lever arm and a pad pusher connected to the lever arm. The lever arm is configured such that movement of the lever arm pushes the pad pusher along the support surface toward the opening, the pad pusher engaging the first end portion of the scented pad and moving the second end portion of the scented pad at least partially out of the pad holder opening.

  • Patent number: 11881882
Abstract: In one implementation, a wireless communications terminal includes a multi-element antenna. In addition, the terminal includes preliminary signal combiners to combine received signals output by corresponding pairs of antenna elements. For each preliminary signal combiner, the signal output by a first of the pair of elements provides a model of interference present in the received signal output by the second of the pair of elements. The preliminary signal combiner is configured to combine the signal output by the first element with the signal output by the second element to produce an initial interference-mitigated signal.

  • Publication number: 20230362066
Abstract: A computing device (e.g., a policy management server) obtains a segmentation policy that includes a set of rules for controlling network traffic between workloads. The computing device also receives infrastructure feedback regarding configuration of third-party network infrastructure. The computing device uses the infrastructure feedback to identify a discrepancy between the segmentation policy and the configuration of the third-party network infrastructure and triggers a corrective action in response. The corrective action may include providing a notification or suggestive remedy for the discrepancy to the user or automatically remedying the discrepancy.

  • Publication number: 20230279330
Abstract: A predictive model is described that can predict parameter concentrations in the future based on initial, measured concentrations and historical data. A plurality of multivariate techniques can be used to construct the predictive model capable of forecasting concentrations over multiple and diverse cell lines. The predictive model is also scalable. • Patent number: 11568955
Abstract: A process and system for efficiently producing reference data that can be fed into a predictive model for predicting quality attribute concentrations in cell culture processes. A perfusion bioreactor is operated at pseudo-steady-state conditions and one or more attribute influencing parameters are manipulated and changed over time. As the one or more attribute influencing parameters are manipulated, one or more quality attributes are monitored and measured. In one embodiment, multiple quality attributes are monitored and measured in parallel. The quality attribute information is recorded in conjunction with the changes in the attribute influencing parameters. This information is then fed to the predictive model for propagating cell cultures in commercial processes and maintaining the cell cultures within desired preset limits.

  • Patent number: 11537771
Abstract: A system and method are provided to enable non-quantum experts to schematically represent, simulate and quantify the performance of physically realistic photonic quantum circuits. The framework offers the flexibility for users—not necessarily familiar with the fundamentals of quantum mechanics—to create circuits and work with simple inputs and outputs, while the complexities of manipulating high dimensionality quantum Hilbert spaces supporting photonic and physical quantum object states are handled with the use of purpose-built tools. The tools include a user-friendly method for defining classical photonic circuits which may be coupled to physical objects such as qubits, quantum input states, as well as classical and quantum measurement devices. The tools feature classical-to-quantum S-matrix conversion, quantum S-matrix extraction, as well as capabilities for defining and extracting quantum error parameters.
