  • Patent number: 12221884
Abstract: This disclosure presents systems and processes to collect elemental composition of target fluid and solid material located downhole of a borehole. Waveguides can be utilized that include capillary optics to deliver emitted high energy into a container or a conduit and then to detect the high energy. A source waveguide can be used to emit the high energy into the target fluid and a detector waveguide can collect resulting measurements. Each waveguide can include a protective sheath and a pressure cap on the end of the capillary optics that are proximate the target fluid, to protect against abrasion and target fluid pressure. In other aspects, a pulsed neutron tool can be utilized in place of the waveguides to collect measurements. The collected measurements can be utilized to generate chemical signature results that can be utilized to determine the elemental composition of the target fluid or of the solid material.

  • Publication number: 20250035811
Abstract: Provided are scanning systems including shield curtain assemblies. A shield curtain assembly may include at least one shield curtain comprising a first material and may further include a low friction material layer. The low friction material layer may comprise a second material having a lower coefficient of friction than the first material. The low friction material layer may be configured to move independently from the at least one shield curtain. When parcels are moved through the scanning systems, the low friction material layer frictionally engages with the parcels and prevents the parcel from frictionally engaging with the shield curtains. The low friction material layer may be independently replaceable from the at least one shield curtain. The independently movable low friction material layer may improve throughput of the scanning systems, improve parcel tracking reliability of the scanning systems, and reduce operating costs of the scanning systems.

  • Patent number: 12212980
Abstract: Disclosed is a system and methods for creating and maintaining a virtual subnetwork of telecommunication base stations within a wider telecommunication network. In an LTE-based example, the subnetwork includes a connection aggregator that is coupled between the plurality of eNodeBs internal to the subnetwork and one or more MMEs in the outer network. The connection aggregator intercepts all control plane messages between the MMEs and the internal eNodeBs, remaps eNodeB identifiers, and transmits repackaged messages so that the outer network sees the entire subnetwork as a single “giant” eNodeB. The disclosed system and methods enables the operator of the virtual subnetwork to add and shut down eNodeBs as demand for connectivity fluctuates, and to do so such that all changes are unseen by the outer network.

  • Patent number: 12205365
Abstract: In some embodiments, space objects may be detected within shortwave infrared (SWIR) images captured during the daytime. Some embodiments include obtaining a stacked image by stacking shortwave infrared (SWIR) images. A spatial background-difference image may be generated based on the stacked image, and a matched-filter image may be obtained based on the spatial background-difference image. A binary mask may be generated based on the matched-filter image. The binary mask may include a plurality of bits each of which including a first value or a second value based on whether a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) associated with that bit satisfies a threshold condition. Output data may be generated based on the spatial background-difference image and the binary mask, where the output data provides observations on detected space objects in orbit.
