  • Patent number: 6247210
Abstract: The buckle includes a web adjustment member which further includes a first lacing bar, a second lacing bar and a third lacing bar about which webbing is laced. The first and second lacing bars are positioned relatively proximate to each other so that a pinch point is formed in the webbing proximate to the first and second lacing bars. This pinch point resists loosening of the webbing with respect to the buckle. A third lacing bar, which is relatively distant from the first and second lacing bars, maintains the pinch point during rotation of the buckle.

  • Patent number: 6170130
Abstract: A lashing system having one or more cord anchors fastenable to a stationary member in spaced apart relation, and one or more cord clips each having a first portion with a first cord engaging member releasably and coupleable to a first cord portion and a second portion with a second cord engaging member selectively and releasably coupleable to a second cord portion so as to accommodate a particular article stowage application. The cord anchors also have a cord engaging member releasably coupleable to the cord, whereby the cord may be selectively coupled to one or more cord anchors, and thus positioned selectively on the stationary member. The lashing system also preferably includes a cord hook coupled to a first cord portion and a hook portion engagable by hooking to another cord portion.

  • Patent number: 6038747
Abstract: A waist-belt and buckle assembly for mounting a pack on a person, preferably on a back side portion of a human torso, having two strap portions extendable forwardly from each side portion of the pack toward a front side portion of the person where the four strap portions are fastenable, for example with a buckle, and preferably with a buckle having substantially discrete accommodations for each strap portion. The strap portions are independently adjustable, and are loosenable independently without loosening other strap portions, preferably by moving a corner portion of the buckle away from the torso.
