  • Patent number: 7905490
Abstract: A multi-player interactive card game, preferably having character cards with images of people with different occupations and different types of animals. An oval face cutout is included on each of the character cards. Game play involves impersonations and guessing along with prompts for players to raise and position the character cards such that a player's face completes a visual image of the identity of the character card.

  • Publication number: 20100120321
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a vertical take off aircraft is provided with an airframe having an aft section freely pivotally connected to the bow section. The airframe is substantially planar when the aft section is pivotally aligned with the bow section. A propeller system and a pair of wings are secured to the bow section of the airframe. When the bow section is pivoted to a vertical position and the aircraft is placed on a surface, the propeller system when activated will vertically lift the aircraft off of the surface. Furthermore, when the aircraft vertically lifts off of the surface, the aft section freely pivots to form the substantially planar airframe which creates larger lift forces in a horizontal direction than in a vertical direction causing the aircraft to fly in a more horizontal direction, whereby the aircraft automatically switches from a vertical take off to horizontal flight.

  • Patent number: 7374481
Abstract: A sequencing game is provided with a housing and a microprocessor disposed within the housing. A plurality of manually operable controls are affixed to the housing and are in communication with the microprocessor. The microprocessor generates and sensorially renders a sequence of events, wherein each event is related to one of the manually operable controls. Each manually operable control is externally acutable by a participant for responding to said sequence of signals. The microprocessor further compares the participant's response to said sequence of events for determining the correctness of the participant's response. The difficultly of the game is increased with a motor that drives wheels which move the game while the sequence of events are being sensorially rendered.

  • Patent number: 7337862
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention a mono-wheel vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a housing with an inner circumference. A wheel is connected to the housing such that the wheel is able to rotate independently of the housing. The wheel has an outside portion that makes contact with a surface. A motor mechanism is provided for rotation of the wheel. Gyroscopic forces acting on the rotating wheel maintain the vehicle in a substantially upright position such that the vehicle is able to travel along the surface in a first direction. A platform connected to the inner circumference of the housing is pivotable in relation to the housing to causes a change in a center of gravity. The change in center of gravity causes the gyroscopic forces acting on the vehicle to turn the vehicle towards the changing center of gravity in order to maintain the vehicle in a more upright position.

  • Patent number: 7178758
Abstract: A propeller related vehicle in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention is described as a helicopter having an airframe housing a motor mechanism for powering a main propeller attached to a main drive shaft that extends vertically through the airframe and for powering a tail rotor. The helicopter further includes a horizontal stabilizing mechanism attached between the main propeller and the main drive shaft, which permits the main propeller to freely pivot about the main drive shaft independently from the airframe. As such when the main propeller is rotating and the main propeller begins to pitch, the rotating main propeller has a centrifugal force created by the rotation thereof and will tend to pivot about the horizontal stabilizing mechanism in a manner that offsets the pitch such that the helicopter remains in a substantially horizontal position. In addition various main propeller configurations may be employed that provide additional self-stabilization.

  • Patent number: 7163210
Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention there is provided a vehicle with a training device for use on a skateboard. The training device includes an assembly disposed about one of a plurality of axles of the skateboard. The assembly has a transfer gear horizontally moveably to a first position to engage a flywheel wheel to provide resistance to the skateboard and to charge the flywheel when a wheel corresponding to one of the plurality of axles spins, such that when the flywheel is charged the flywheel provides inertia to the wheel. The training device may also be designed to be entirely incorporated with a single wheel for use with in-line skate or scooters.

  • Patent number: 7160171
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention there is provided a pneumatic pump in combination with a pneumatic toy vehicle powered by a refillable compressed chamber. The improvement of the pump is defined by having a pipe that has an aperture to exhaust air being pumped therefrom. The pump further includes a means for launching the vehicle from the pump. The toy vehicle includes a pneumatic motor that when activated utilizes air in the chamber to propel the vehicle and activation of the motor is achieved by moving the vehicle. The vehicle includes an air inlet valve sized to securely engage the pipe of the pump such that movement of the vehicle during filling of the chamber is prevented. When securely engaged by the pipe, the vehicle is positioned against the launching means. A user operating the launching means pushes the vehicle, which activates the motor, such that the vehicle launches away from the pump.

  • Patent number: 7100866
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention there is described a vehicle having a propeller mechanism for propelling the vehicle in a horizontal direction. The vehicle includes a transmitter positioned on the bottom of the vehicle for transmitting a signal from the vehicle downwardly away from the vehicle. A receiver is positioned on the bottom of the vehicle for receiving the signal as it is bounced off of a surface, defined as a bounced signal. A control system is also provided that automatically sets a speed of the propeller mechanism in response to the receiver. The control system sets the speed of the propeller mechanism to a first speed when the receiver receives the bounced signal and the control system sets the speed of the propeller mechanism to a second speed when the receiver does not receive the bounced signal. The first speed is predefined as a speed that causes the vehicle to gain altitude, while the second speed is predefined as a speed that causes the vehicle to lose altitude.

  • Patent number: 7036307
Abstract: In one embodiment, a pneumatic power-supply assembly includes a refillable chamber having an interior capable for holding a pressurized fluid, a vent, and a fluid inlet. A pressure release mechanism within the chamber permits the pressure within the chamber to vent, when the pressure exceeds a predetermined optimum pressure. A pneumatic motor is mounted within the chamber and includes an inlet in fluid communication with the interior of the chamber. The pneumatic motor utilizes the pressurized fluid within the interior of the chamber to drive a gear rotatably attached to the pneumatic motor. In addition, the gear rotates an axle rotatably attached to the chamber such that the when the assembly is attached to a pneumatic operated device the rotatable axle may be used by the pneumatically operated device. In addition, a external pump is attached to the fluid inlet to continually recharge the chamber.
