  • Publication number: 20240126636
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated remediation of issues arising in a data management storage system are provided. Deployed assets of a storage solution vendor may deliver telemetry data to the vendor on a regular basis. The received telemetry data may be processed by an AIOps platform to perform predictive analytics and arrive at “community wisdom” from the vendor's installed user base. In one embodiment, an insight-based approach is used to facilitate risk detection and remediation including proactively addressing issues before they turn into more serious problems. For example, based on continuous learning based on the community wisdom and making one or both of a rule set and a remediation set derived therefrom available for use by cognitive computing co-located with a customer's storage system, a risk to which the storage system is exposed may be determined and a corresponding remediation may be deployed to address or mitigate the risk.

  • Patent number: 11961136
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to processing and executing digital asset transfers between two users. An example method includes receiving a data object defining a digital asset transfer, and the data object may be a query from the first user to initiate an outbound transfer to a second user or an approval of a request for digital asset units from the second user. The method further includes retrieving account balance data objects associated with the digital asset accounts for the first and second users. The method further includes, responsive to determining that the digital asset transfer satisfies one or more transfer conditions, executing the digital asset transfer by executing a closed-loop debit from the first user and executing a closed-loop credit to the second user. The method further includes updating the account balance data object to reflect the resulting balances of each digital asset account.

  • Patent number: 11960636
Abstract: Examples of wearable systems and methods can use multiple inputs (e.g., gesture, head pose, eye gaze, voice, and/or environmental factors (e.g., location)) to determine a command that should be executed and objects in the three-dimensional (3D) environment that should be operated on. The multiple inputs can also be used by the wearable system to permit a user to interact with text, such as, e.g., composing, selecting, or editing text.

  • Patent number: 11959264
Abstract: A suction cup article includes at least one suction cup unit having a suction cup, a neck, and a head. The head points in a direction away from the direction in which the suction cup is oriented to suction to a surface. The head has a point at a distal end of the head, and a base that is adjacent to, and wider than the neck. The head can be passed through an opening in a basin article such as a urinal screen, resulting in the neck being disposed in the opening, and the head, having a base that is wider than the opening, providing interference that holds the suction cup unit in the basin article. The suction cup unit can further include an arm that extends from the suction cup unit near the neck. The arm prevents the suction cup article from passing through the drain of the basin.

  • Publication number: 20240119744
Abstract: A computing system determines accuracy of sport-related information extracted from a time sequence of digital video frames that represent a sport event, the extracted sport-related information including an attribute that changes over the time sequence. The computing system (a) detects, based on the extracted sport-related information, a pattern of change of the attribute over the time sequence and (b) makes a determination of whether the detected pattern is an expected pattern of change associated with the sport event. If the determination is that the detected pattern is the expected pattern, then, responsive to making the determination, the computing system takes a first action that corresponds to the sport-related information being accurate. Whereas, if the determination is that the detected pattern is not the expected pattern, then, responsive to making the determination, the computing system takes a second action that corresponds to the sport-related information being inaccurate.

  • Publication number: 20240116323
Abstract: A height adjustable top mount for adjusting a ride height of a vehicle comprising includes a top plate, a worm wheel, a core, and worm gear. The top plate is configured to mount to a body of the vehicle and movable between a first position and a second position. The worm wheel is received in the top plate and includes an inner wheel surface and an outer wheel surface. The core is received within the worm wheel and helically meshed to the inner wheel surface of the worm wheel. The worm gear is meshed to the outer wheel surface of the worm wheel. Rotation of the worm gear drives rotation of the worm wheel, rotation of the worm wheel simultaneously moves the top plate vertically relative to the core, and movement of the top plate adjusts the ride height of the vehicle in a corresponding direction.

  • Publication number: 20240119465
Abstract: A device receives information regarding whether a cover of an authentication indicia of a consumable has been subject to tampering. In response to the information indicating that the cover of the authentication indicia has not been subject to tampering, the device obtains an image of the authentication indicia after the cover has been removed from the authentication indicia. The device performs an authentication process to authenticate the consumable based on the authentication indicia.

Abstract: Systems and methods for digital property protection are disclosed. For example, indication may be received that an entity has applied for an insurance policy to insure against theft of digital property. The digital property may be registered and a valuation of the digital property may be generated. Due diligence processes may be performed, including assessment of physical and/or network security mechanisms to prevent theft of the digital property. A recommendation to issue the insurance policy may be generated and sent in examples where the due diligence processes return favorable results. Terms generation and/or identification may be performed, and claims processing based at least in part on loss matrixes may also be performed.

  • Publication number: 20240112098
Abstract: Method and computer-readable media for assessing brand experience and customer experience as a tool to measure and align business intentions with customer experiences. A central processing system provides, via a communication interface, a set of questions for a multiple element brand design assessment from a central system to multiple remote user terminals. The central processing system receives, via the communication interface, a set of user selectable response from each of the multiple remote user terminals in response to the provided set of questions. The central processing system combines scores based on the set of user selectable responses receive from each of the multiple remote user terminals to generate metrics for assessed elements of the multiple element brand design assessment. The central processing system outputs a report comprising the metrics for the assessed elements of the multiple element brand design assessment.

  • Publication number: 20240109010
Abstract: A method of filtration in a process vessel using a treated filter media which has been treated with a conditioner for improved filtration of contaminants is provided. The treated filter media can be used in process vessels for refining, petrochemical, and chemical plants to treat process streams. The conditioner can be the same material as what is expected to be captured during the fouling process. In other words, the conditioner that is added to the treated filter media can be the same material as the contaminant in the fluid stream to be treated. This allows for chemical compatibility with an existing process fluid stream. This also allows for the natural continuation of the filtration process.
