  • Patent number: 6609536
Abstract: A depression cap comprises a first end and a second end, the second end having a compartment defined therein for engaging with a nose of a bottle. An air pump is provided for drawing air out of the bottle. A pressure-activated switch is provided for controlling on/off of the air pump. The pressure-activated switch is capable of detecting an internal pressure in the bottle. The air pump is turned on when the internal pressure is higher than a predetermined first pressure value. The air pump is turned off when the internal pressure is lower than a predetermined second pressure value that is smaller than the predetermined first pressure value.

  • Publication number: 20030029515
Abstract: In an aspect, a depression container includes a vessel, a cover, a pump, a pressure-activated switch and a power supply. The vessel includes an open end. The cover is used for sealing the open end of the vessel. The pump is used for drawing air out of the vessel. The pressure-activated switch is used for controlling ON and OFF of the pump. The pressure-activated switch detects the pressure in the vessel, and turns on the pump when the pressure is higher than a predetermined upper limit, and turns off the pump when the pressure is lower than a predetermined lower limit. The pressure-activated switch and the pump are powered by the power supply. In another aspect, a depression container includes a vessel, a cover, a pump, a pressure-activated switch and a power supply. The vessel includes an open end. The cover is used for sealing the open end of the vessel. The pump is used for drawing air out of the vessel. The pressure-activated switch and the pump are powered by the power supply.

  • Publication number: 20030005974
Abstract: A depression container comprises a vessel including a compartment and a cover for enclosing and thus sealing the compartment. An air pump draws air out of the compartment and a pressure-activated switch controls on/off of the air pump. The pressure-activated switch detects an internal pressure in the compartment. The air pump is turned on when the internal pressure is higher than a predetermined first pressure value. The air pump is turned off when the internal pressure is lower than a predetermined second pressure value. In an alternative embodiment, the pressure-activated switch detects a pressure difference resulting from a closing motion of the cover on the vessel and turns the air pump on to thereby draw air out of the compartment of the vessel. The air pump is turned off when an internal pressure in the compartment detected by the pressure-activated switch is lower than a predetermined pressure value.

  • Publication number: 20020108657
Abstract: A container is formed of a vessel, an air pump, a pressure triggering switch, and a battery set. The vessel is formed of a cylindrical main body and a lid for covering the open top of a receiving cell of the vessel. The air pump, the pressure triggering switch, and battery set are disposed in the lid for keeping the air pressure in the receiving cell at a desired level. When the air pressure in the receiving cell is so changed as to be higher than the desired level, the air pump is activated by the pressure triggering switch to draw the excess air out of the receiving cell until the air pressure in the receiving cell is equal to the desired level. The air pump is then automatically deactivated by the pressure triggering switch.

  • Patent number: 6202450
Abstract: A uniform yarn delivery method and apparatus for a knitting machine is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of sending yarn derived from a supply cone to be guided on a yarn supply drum so as to tighten yarn thereon; and suitably uniformly slackening the taut yarn sent from yarn supply drum prior to sending to said knitting machine for knitting under the same vibration of a yarn tension detection arm. With this, all yarn sections are the same in length, loops are identical, and fabric has a uniform texture.

  • Patent number: 5048312
Abstract: A slip-proof elastic yarn-feeding ring device removably fitted to the circumference of a yarn-feeding drum whereby a yarn is pressed between a yarn-feeding belt and the ring device and steadily forward carried by the yarn-feeding belt without slipping movement. The diameter of the ring device is smaller than that of the yarn-feeding drum so that when the ring device is extended to ring the yarn-feeding drum, the ring device closely binds a portion of the circumference of the yarn-feeding drum via its elastic binding force.
