To record a schedule, the mobile terminal receiving a schedule message converts a data format of the received SMS message into a format of schedule-recordable data and records the converted data therein as a schedule, if schedule recording is selected by the user.

The apparatus for reporting an incoming call in a mobile communication terminal includes a feature memory block for storing voice features extracted from a caller's voice correspondingly to information regarding the caller, a report message memory block for storing in a character type a message of reporting the incoming call, a control unit for, if an incoming call is detected, extracting information regarding the caller from the detected incoming call and searching the feature memory block for voice features corresponding to the caller information, and a voice synthesizing unit for outputting a message of reporting the incoming call by performing voice synthesis based on the searched voice features.

Abstract: A method for providing time information of a called party in a mobile communication terminal. The method includes receiving a phone number of the called party, detecting time difference information between an area of the mobile communication terminal and an area of the called party using the received phone number, calculating the local time of the called party according to the time difference information, and displaying the local time of the called party. The method may also include determining whether the local time for the called party is during a non-available period, such as late night or early-morning. If the local time for the called party is during a non-available period, the call may not be transmitted or may be sent to the user to re-request the sending of the call, according to different embodiments of the invention.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method for automatically originating an international call and a mobile communication terminal using the same, such that a function of automatically originating an international call according to movement of a mobile communication terminal between countries is provided. The mobile communication terminal includes a country code detecting unit for informing a country code for a corresponding country by detecting movement of a mobile communication terminal between countries. If the country code detecting unit provides an allowable country code according to the position of the mobile communication terminal, a control unit adds an international dialing code to preset information regarding a call terminating side so as to enable call connection.
